Has anyone seen her disco stick?,

This review is from: LoveGame - Remixes (Audio CD)
Lovegame is the latest in irresistibly catchy yet lyrically dim-witted singles from Lady Gaga. There's nothing deep or meaningful to be found here, but if you want to break loose and have some fun for about 20 minutes, then I would suggest getting this ultra-stylish 6-track maxi-single.
First you'll find the album version, instrumental, and acapella versions, which don't really require further description. The first real remix is the Dave Aude Radio Edit, which I would say is the best of the bunch. The vocals are sped up just a bit and the beat is more danceable and techno than the original. This is followed by the bizarre Space Cowboy mix, which is slightly disappointing because it's actually a dub mix. All it consists of is Gaga asking us over and over again if anyone has seen her disco stick, and a few lines are even played backwards. Not my cup of tea, but fans will probably be glad to have it. And finally there is the Robots To Mars Mix, which turns the song into a mid-tempo guitar number, which also strikes me as awkward since the words and the beat don't really match up. Overall it seems Lovegame was kind of a difficult song to remix since the original is so distinctively structured, and none of these remixes are particularly brilliant. I think the Dave Aude mix is the only version that I'd want to listen to over and over again. I also feel like my money would have been better spent had this single included longer versions and not just radio edits. Like I said earlier, the 6 tracks barely break 20 minutes total. I'm glad I have it, don't get me wrong, it's still pretty fun. But as far as maxi-singles go I think her Poker Face release was far superior and had more bang for the buck.

This Lady is a Hit,

Lady Gaga's Lovegame has been played on the radio, on MTV, and has tired itself out of mainstream music. But fans can relive the fun and excitement in this release of remixes! The first three tracks are the original, a cappella, and instrumental. But the last three are remixes. Space Cowboy is my favorite in particular since she played it at her live The Fame Ball tour. This is a hard to find track, but now it's availible here to own! The other two are good as well. Don't expect any pictures of Gaga inside the cover, because there are none. It's just a single piece of paper... Overall, this was a well done effort from Gaga!

I'm a Gaga fan but this cover is listed by Amazon under the incorrect item. Don't buy if you're looking for this cover art. New and used sellers are also listing the incorrect cover art. ASK QUESTIONS TO SELLERS BEFORE BUYING.

If your one of Lady Gaga's little monsters, this remix ep is for you. The CD contains 6 tracks. Track one is the one that appears on The Fame, Track two is an instrumental version of track one. Track three is the a Capella version. the final 3 tracks are the remixes. I Highly recommend this CD.

Lady Gaga is many spectacular things from Superstar, Megastar, Music Genius to a phenomenal Icon in the making! This single is but a peek into the most dance infused tracks from her albums plus a mix sure to get your dance moods flowing! Lady Gaga brings a single with dance, mix that is a huge club fix for the dance junkie or music lover of fast style beats along rich not harsh to the ears vocals!
The first track is the regular album version while the second track Chew Fu Ghetto House Mix Featuring Marilyn Manson [5.20] brings echoing swirls, Marilyn Manson and drums accompanied by interjections of Marilyn Manson and rich filled vocals by Lady Gaga. The words to the song are genius as this truly is a serious every day occurrence in the love game world. While the music intensifies the moods and thought provoking words, the mix further climaxes the vibe with echoing beats definitely club friendly! This 2-track housed in a slim-line jewel case will be sure to reach greater heights as time passes so be sure to pick it up before it sells. The Single Box has the same single but it's backed by a different mix- Instead it has the Robots To Mars Remix.

The tracks are very good, when you think the beat of her songs are mindblowing, the remixes make even a better job. When i opened the jewel case i thought it was a booklet but NO! Mine came with four papers with the same cover, I consider myself lucky jeje.

Let me premise this by saying I LOVE Lady GaGa. However, she would be better off to find someone else to remix her music because this CD is plain old tired. I was hoping that maybe one (out of the five) remixes you get would be decent, but I was disappointed. The first cut is what you heard on the radio--nothing special--BUT at least it is danceable. The rest reminds me of "mixers without a clue." You have the instrumental version, again, nothing special at all. You next have an A Capella version, and I have one question to ask: WHY? You don't put A Capella versions on a remix. Period. The "Space Cowboy" and "Robots to Mars" remixes are just a mess. This is supposed to be dance music, yet the last two cuts remind me of "rats on acid" remixes. Sorry, Lady, this CD does not measure up. Perhaps in the future, you could collaborate with Offer Nissim, Peter Rauhauffer, or Jose Spinnin'. At least they'd mix danceable music.
