About the Author
Lynda Dykes Talmadge, Ph.D., received her training as a clinical psychologist from Georgia State University with concentrations in family and social psychology. In practice with her husband since 1977, she specializes in sex and marital therapy, women's issues and group therapy. Certified by the American Association of Sex Educators, Counselors, and Therapists as a sex therapist and supervisor of other clinicians, she is also a clinical member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy, the Society for Sex Therapy and Research, and former chairperson of the ethics committee for the Georgia Psychological Association.
William C. Talmadge, Ph.D., is a licensed psychologist in private practice in Atlanta, Georgia, specializing in marital and sex therapy. He is a graduate of Georgia State University where he was voted Outstanding Alumnus. His professional memberships include the American Psychological Association, Society for Sex Therapy and Research, and the American Association of Sex Educators, Counselors, and Therapists, through which he is a certified sex therapist and supervisor.
