5.0 out of 5 stars Morosa gets answers finally!, February 11, 2010
We come back to the small fictional town of Gaston City, Indiana to visit Morosa's ghost once more. This time she is looking for answers. We know who killed, but we don't know why and we're in for a great story as we discover the truth along with her. This small town has more secrets. I really thought this was playing out in a big city like New York. The people of Gaston City are a trip and truly give new meaning to the saying `cast the first stone.'

Once again I was feeling the emotions of these characters as the symbolism to adoption is much more in this book then in its predecessor. I truly enjoyed this read and Mrs. Ferguson has stepped her game up with this one. The murders that take place are downright gruesome. The characters from book one are back and each have a story to tell.

With such a crazy plot, you will not be disappointed. With a few books coming out in 2010 I recommend this novel of course pick up part 1 first! I look forward to Mrs. Ferguson next head banger.

4.0 out of 5 stars What Would You Do for Love?, January 31, 2010
Morosa Denise McKinley returns in this sequel to flesh out the back story of her adoption. Morosa has regular ghostly visits to the prisons that house her adoptive parents in attempts to learn more about their lives. At the same time, Detective Kenneth Nettles moves to Gaston City to work full time on connecting case. The recently divorced detective is the catch of the town and everyone has their eye on him - and what he will learn about this sinister city. As things unravel and the truth is uncovered the city goes berserk.

Ferguson continues to use her unique style to entertain readers. All of the characters from the first story return while the new characters bring much drama. I would consider this a novella as it is only 138 pages but the story will draw you in from page 1. The background offered will bring you up to speed but you will definitely want to read Loved to Death: A Different Kind of Love Story because of the uniqueness of the writing style. The ending is something I never saw coming and will leave you anxiously anticipating the next installment.
