Take a trip back in time to the Hawaiian days of yesteryear with this great compilation of rare vintage Hawaiian tracks. Many of the songs come from the Joe/Genoa Keawe family which is just wonderful because no one plays like Joe and no one sings like Genoa. The four songs by Naughty Abbie are worth the price of this album alone. She sings very funny songs in English-Hawaiian-slang and unfortuantely, this is the ONLY CD where you will find any songs from her, even though she was an extremely popular segment of the Keawe Family's live shows...which still continue to this day!! If you are even looking at this page then chances are you will love this CD, it is one of my favorite music purchases ever and I buy tons of music! Every song is a winner!!

We had a Hawaiaan day at the nursing home on August 19, 2009 which was 2 days before the 50th anniversary of Hawaii being made the 50th state.
