one of the FEW great comedians IMHO,

With the passing of the great George Carlin, I find for my taste there are very few really unique and brilliant comedians...and by the way if you think Dane Cook is one of them...this isn't for you!
Brian Regan is absolutely wonderful and totally clean (not necessary for me but fascinating that he is). But lets get back to Craig Shoemaker, master of impressions ..although that isn't his act, just a wonderful ingredient he uses to spice it up. Craigs humor will appeal to both sexes and a wide age group...but baby boomers will take particular pleasure in his observations. This is a great 2 Disc set from the early 2002 and was recorded at the Imrov In Irvine California. Unlike many single disc sets which have abbreviated versions of shows...and Craig (like Bruce Springsteen) gives his audience their monies worth at usually 90-100 minutes..this allows for the whole arc of the show to be presented...and its a treat! His most recent UNZIPPED is also available and a great buy as is the DVD which is even more recommended! laughter does heal and its good for you...this is cheap medicine ...stock up and share with your friends! |
