This was an awesome story. I could not put this book down until I read the last page. Sofia and Ram's story will have you laughing and crying too. He was her best friend when they were kids but because of a arguement she heard as as child, she thought that Ram's dad had a affair with her Mom so she dropped him as a friend like a hot potato. 3.0 out of 5 stars This would have been a great short story
I loved the first half of the book but it seemed that the deeper linto the story the more we were looking for matieral to fill it. I could have done without the fluff. There was a area in the story where everything was just perfect. I don't read books to find the happy go lucky people but for the drama (and in Adrianne Byrd's case the comedy too) but it was all lacking in...

He never knew why she avoided him all those years but he still loved her and was determined to have her. When the truth comes out a lot of things change but will it be to late to keep the man she loves? Awesome story and awesome final story of the 'Love in the Lime Light' series.

4.0 out of 5 stars Puppy Love Grows Up, November 5, 2010
This review is from: Lovers Premiere (Kimani Romance) (Mass Market Paperback)
When I first started reading this book I thought another boring book. So I read another in between. When I pick it back up this book was truly refreshing its exciting, funny, and yes even a little sad. But overall it is really a great book.

Sofia a workaholic and Ram a real romantic the chemistry is just great. When Sofia eventually decides to give Ram a chance and discovers that he is the love of her life and she can't live without him that was amazing. I love the wedding a little different but funny.

You will really love this book it was great.

Let me just say "awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww"

This book was sooooooooo sweet Ram what a man he was so caring and I found his crush and love for Sofia so hot sexy and whatever else you want to throw in there. Sofia was a little blind and acting a fool but she finally got to her mind right and got her man in the end. Great read loved it. Oh and Ms. byrd if your reading the reviews and you happen to see this you sure can write a mean sex between the couples in your books and his one does not disappoint. I also love how you always make your leading me sweet and caring that alone is sexy.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great ending!!, October 28, 2010
This review is from: Lovers Premiere (Kimani Romance) (Mass Market Paperback)
No one can bring up the rear like Adrianne! Lovers Premiere- the ending to the "Love in the Limelight" series made me wish that it wasn't over. Sofia and Ram's childhood frienship ended abruptly when she overheard and arguement between her parents regarding Ram's father who was Sofia's father's best friend. From that point on she hated Ram and his father but Ram who has been in love with Sofia since they were kids could not understand why she was no longer his friend. As adults, both families being in the entertainment business, the heads of the two family Sofia's uncle (her deceased father's twin) and Ram's father decided to merge the two businesses, which Sofia adamantly opposes because she hates Ram and his family is told to get with the program or she will be fired. Not to be outdone, Sofia reluctantly gets with the program but she is not going along quietly, Ram who is determined to have the woman he has loved all his life sets out on a quest to bring Sofia back to him.

This story was sooo good, the chemistry between Sofia and Ram was smokin hot!!! Great read and end to the series.

5.0 out of 5 stars Loved it!!!!, November 4, 2011
This review is from: Lovers Premiere (Kimani Romance) (Mass Market Paperback)
I LOVED RAMELL!!!!!! Sofia was sooo very funny. They were great together. Talk about a man for a woman. He was just what the doctor ordered (or should have). He wasn't intimidated by Sofia. He was romantic and not afraid to let her know how he felt all without losing his man card or appearing weak and wimpy. I loved it!!! I couldn't put this book down. I felt like I was watching a movie.

4.0 out of 5 stars Aww, I loved it!, July 19, 2011

This was a great conclusion to the Love in the Limelight series. I knew my girl Adrianne would do a great job ending the series and she didn't disappoint.

Sofia kinda bugged me in the beginning, but Ram really loosened her up. Loved, loved, loved the wild night out they had in Vegas - it was too crazy! Nobody can bring the comedy, romance and hot love scenes like Adrianne Byrd. My only complaint is that the book was too short; I started reading it at lunch and was done by the time my evening commute was over (and for once I wasn't trying to sneak and read while I should have been working!). It was definitely a good read, though.

This Book was Excellent, Excellent,!!!! I just finished reading "Sing Your Pleasure" by A.C. Arthur...Now I started reading this book thinking "I just left this character Sofia in the last book". Duh, the book is in a series!!! Lol!!! I was too outdone!! This was ingenius!!! 4 books with different authors but the stories tied in with one another!! Incredible!!!! I love Kimani publishing and the authors who are with the company!!! I felt like Sophia was someone I knew. Everyone has that someone in their life(be it male or female) that you want nothing but the best for because you love them so much and that they deserve it. You want them to find that someone who will love and cherish them. BEAUTIFUL!!!! Can you say I'm purchasing the other two books in the series today!! Lol!!!

Lovers Premier is an awesome romantic tale about two rivals who fall in love. Sofia has hated Ram since childhood. Ram on the other hand loves Sofia and is determined to make her his. Everything changes during a trip to Las Vegas. What happens in Vegas doesn't always stay in Vegas.

This book is a passion filled romantic read. The characters are exciting and the story is original. I highly recommend this book.
