A Lover's Worth is the fifth installment in AlTonya Washington's Ramsey Family Saga. Moses Ramsey, fearful that his demeanor was the same as his father's, Marcus, devised a plan to turn the only woman he has ever loved against him. Nearly twenty years later, Moses must face Johari Frazier with news of her sister, Johzara. What he did not count on was realizing the he never stopped loving Johari. He knows that he must tell her the truth. Johari, who is ecstatic with news of her sister, also realizes that she must tell Moses the secret she has also kept from him.

Once again, Washington's story is packed with suspense and intrigue. The feelings between Moses and Johari were captured wonderfully on each page. However, the mystery surrounding the Ramsey family will have you sitting on the edge of your seat. I began reading this series in the middle and I was immediately captivated by it. The story is written with just enough romance, murder, lies, secrets and suspense to keep you turning the pages. I eagerly await the last two installments of this family saga

If the ratings went up to 10 stars, I would want to give this book 20. After waiting for a year for the continuation of the "Ramsey" saga, It did not disappoint. answered a lot of my questions and in true Altonya Washington fashion, opened up several other cans of worms. Moses, the dark, brooding hero is sexy as sin and his chemistry with Johari was off the charts. This installment was excellent. It has the making of a great movie, and the hot steamy love scenes were as only Altonya can do. Marcus is still up to his same old tricks but no one is falling for them now. Catch up with the rest of the Ramsey's Quest & Michaela, Quay and Tykira, Countess and Fernando, Melina and Yohan. And she throws in some unexpected twists that I as a loyal Ramsey fan would have never expected. This book is excellent!!! GET IT NOW!!!

In this continuing series, Ms. Washington has once again outdone herself..The Ramsey men only get sexier, bigger, and better with Moses. To protect her, he is trying to stay away from Johari, the only woman he has loved.It just doesn't work, he can't stay away so he will just have to protect her with his life if need be, that is if she can forgive him his past wrongs (which are considerable). The dynamics are as intriguing as the love between these two strong characters and with danger all around ..... Ms. Washington certainly has a real winner on her hands with the Ramsey series and with this one in particular.

There was a time when Johari Frazier's life was filled with blissful happiness. Then, tragedy struck like a bolt of lightening. She found Moses Ramsey, the love of her life, in bed with another woman just when she was about to inform him that she was pregnant with their child and the final blow came weeks later when she miscarried. The ultimate betrayal was a hard lesson learned for Johari and she vowed never to trust a man again, especially Moses Ramsey. But, years later when Moses shows up on her doorstep declaring that he had found her missing sister, Johari couldn't help but fall into his arms with great relief, momentary forgetting the reason why she hated him so.

Although Moses Ramsey loved Johari Frazier with all his heart; he never felt worthy of her love - mostly due to the scandal that surrounded his family. So, Moses set a plan into motion that was guaranteed to make Johari hate him. He dreaded breaking her heart; but, in the long run Moses knew that Johari was better off without him. Nevertheless, years passed and Moses' love for Johari was still as strong as it was back then. So, when an opportunity presented itself for Moses to right his wrong, he jumped at the chance to reclaim Johari's love; which proved to be a much more difficult task than he bargained for because Johari still harbored a great deal of hatred towards him.

What is A Lover's Worth? For Moses Ramsey it meant everything. In his mind, he was protecting Johari and since he never felt worthy of her love he caused them both many missed years apart that were filled with enormous heartache and hopeless despair. But now, that Johari was back in his life, Moses was determined to rekindle their love affair because he finally realized that the special love they once shared was the most important thing, regardless of his family's devious past. At this point, all Moses wanted to do was to win Johari's heart once again and to prove that he was now worthy of her love. On the road to restoring the love that was lost, the ride was bumpy, full of mischief, outrageous and passionate. Ms. Washington successfully managed to bring forth everything in such an enticing manner that it happily forced me to keep reading until the wee hours of the morning. AlTonya Washington has once again penned another thrilling keeper in A Lover's Worth.

For all the Ramsey family lovers out there this is the story of Moses Ramsey and Johari Frazier, a couple who found love years ago only to have it taken from them. Moses and Johari's story is twisted and tied into the secrets and scandals that are part of the Ramsey family and they hold a few secrets of their own. From page one to the very last page, A Lover's Worth is worth every penny you paid for it, every page it's printed on and every single day that we had to wait for it to be published. Once you pick it up, you won't put it back down until you have turned the last page.

For new AlTonya Washington readers, get this one and please go back and read her entire collection of work. Ms. Washington, has amazing talent for pulling you into a story and not releasing you until it's done. When it's over you want it to go on, and on, and on.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! The Ramsey Saga, an AWESOME story and A MUST read if you are a true Romantic!

The Ramseys just keep getting better and better! Just when you think you've figured it out there's another twist in the plot. I can't wait for the next installment.

OMG...The Ramseys. I couldn't wait for this installment and I was not disapponted. Ms. Washington keeps you wanting more. It feels as though you know the family. If you haven't read the previous books please do so you won't be disappointed. I can't wait for the next book to be published.

Finally got this book. Had to purchase it through Amazon. LOVE LOVE this book. Was Disappointed that it was not avialable as an EBOOK.

This book amazing,It keeps you guessing. I have all of the books in this series and I can not wait for the other 2 books to come out. The Ramsey family is really something else.Altonya is really a great writer.
