Futuristic Romance is my favourite genre. And in this genre Angelea Verdenius books are little known, but wonderful. Love's Bewitching Thief (LBT) is part of the Heart and Soul Series of which all Angela's book are comprised.

LBT can be read as a stand alone, and of the series is one of my favourites, but it is well worth the effort and the expense to collect the entire series. (...)

The thing I like best about her books are the Heros, the Daaman Traders, although the Felys, which are akin to Dara Joy's Familiars, and of whom the heroine of this book is, are incredible too.

Angela's books are interlinked, similar to Staphanie Laurens 'Bar Cynster' or Lori Fosters 'Visitation' books. But her heros are out of this world. When you finish one of the books, there's none of the usual wistful longing for it not to end, only anticipation for the next installment of the series (About one every six months since I've been following), where you will inevitably encounter old favourites, and before you know it, you'll be back re-reading their story. In case I haven't made it clear, I absolutely adore this series and I hope, unrealistically I know, that she never stops writing them.

As much as I like some book, I don't write reviews for them, (Usually too lazy) but I had to do so for this book when I saw that it only had one review, that's how much I love her work. I know it hasn't been on amazon for very long as I check every so often, and I anticipate more positive feedback as she becomes well known.

I stumpled upon this author while living overseas. This author's books are absolutely, positively the best books I have ever read. This particular one is a little silly for me, but start with book one and you'll be cheering all the characters and ready to read the next immediately -- sleep, who needs sleep!? Her characters are strong, know what they want, heroines that are a bit of a cross between Xena, Laura Croft, and Joanna Lindsey sensuality. And you have to LOVE the male characters who deal with the strong headed women with humor. If you can't find the books here, you can get them via e-format or shipped from Australia.
