When Lizzie Hubbard graduated from NYU she had a Screenwriting award, a supportive boyfriend, and a bright future. Seven years later, all she has left is a sharp tongue, a bad attitude and a lousy job toiling fruitlessly as a D-Girl developing screenplays for a movie producer whose biggest hits are far in his past.
Lizzie spends her days stockpiling office supplies, stealing quickies with a Brazilian bike messenger, and waiting to collect her severance benefits.
