This book is not a learning guide for beginners, but if you are looking for a reference guide to research specific traits, this book is a breath of fresh air in an otherwise stale field of study. While this work primarily focuses on love traits, it does give some insight into some others such as anger, violence and other relationship emotions. It is very well organized and I found it easy to locate the specific information that I was looking for. There are handwriting examples that are contained within each section that are referenced to in an easy to understand format. I only wish more handwriting analysis books were this easy to navigate and study.

I had picked up this book many years ago and some bookstore. In reading it I became more interested in how people would write. I found it to be so dead on I've had people ask me to analyze their handwriting. When I did they were upset because I knew more about them then they wanted me to know. What I like the most is that it also covers doodling, not to many books do. This is not for the beginner, but for someone that is interested in knowing about others. I use it to learn more about my employees. After my divorce I found this book and was shocked on how dead on it was about my ex. Now would I have married her if I had this book beforehand, that is a question I could only answer. If your getting this book to find out more about yourself then I would start off by writing several pages first, as I would for anyone, a couple of sentences just doesn't give you the information you want. As the person writes more paragraphs their true handwriting skills comes out. You will use the last pages to find out the true person then the first couple of pages.
