WONDERFUL!!!!
The first half of the book is good, but the second half is wonderful! If nothing else make sure you read the second novel. It is full of drama and scandal, very entertaining!!! It is a very complex story with many layers and settings. Although it is a shorter novel it NEVER feels like one. YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO PUT IT DOWN!! ENJOY! ( this is early Dorothy...

Good to Awful
The first story was a very pleasant read. I liked the characters and setting. The second story "Gentle Torment" was depressing and violent. Love shouldn't drive people to such extremes that they physically hurt the other person. I couldn't disagree more with the other reviewer regarding story two.
