This album is the original cast recording of a terrific off-Broadway musical. The cast is wonderful (look at the names!!), and the songs are great. The show is a revue of poems about love from all time periods, put to music by Michael Valenti, who also wrote Oh Brother! and Mademoiselle Colombe, as well as countless classical pieces.
