Def Jams Lost........., June 24, 2006
This review is from: Lovher (Audio CD)
I recently got an advance copy of this unreleased cd from a friend in the United Kingdom. I must say that this could have been one of the Hottest cd released if it would have seen the light of day. Getting past the whole "this is Sisqo's band" this is a great CD. The ladies vocals are strong and the tracks were really solid.
Personally, I could have seen several released singles on this CD had it made it to the Store. How's It Gonna Be(the first and only released single), Love(which they performed on Soul Food the series) Don't Leave(a song that remind of the Destiny's Childs Jumpin Jumpin)not that it sounds the same, but it has the same Club banging beat and flow! And last but not least, Do You Know Me, which is my personal favorite on this CD(kinda reminds me of Envoge in their hay days)
There are other songs on this cd that could have been released singles, but those listed above stood out..as well as a song title; Commitment. Now I am not sure where the other revieweers got the idea that Sisqo didn't record any songs with the ladies on this CD, but my Advance cd does have a song with him on it.(see tracklisting #13) You Don't Know Me, which is a pretty good song, but not over done.
In all, If you truly love female groups with strong vocals, this is a must for your collection. (I wish I could provide samples of each song so you could truly understand where I am coming from) My friend(whose a DJ in the UK) made a copy for himself and sent me his original advance copy cd, and its one of the best cds I own. If you can come across a copy or download, get it! It's one of those cd's you won't want to be without!

Hotness, February 6, 2008

Now I love this Cd from front to back. I cant get enough of it, I remember bumpin' How It's Gonna Be for hours on repeat when i first got the Rush Hour 2 Soundtrack. Then when I got the CD i fell in love. The vocals are insane, especially on "Black Butterfly". This CD stands out against all the other cds that came out about that time that werent even worth the download (example: Isyss) But the standout tracks are Commitment, Love, How It's Gonna Be, Black Butterfly, Do u Know Me, Girlfriend. Lyrically i fell in love, and vocally im in love, just mad this didnt get the exposure it deserved.

A good debut..., February 9, 2006

It's a shame that this cd never got released. Lovher's debut is actually a good album. I'm glad that Sisqo never made any guest appearances on any of the songs. (It would've just ruined it.) Some of my fav's from the album: How It's Gonna Be, Love, You Don't Me and Commitment.
If you can find this to download definitely add it to your collection.
