When I bought this CD, I thought I was getting "The Lovin' Spoonful Greatest Hits" on the Buddha label, which has 26 tracks on it. This one (same name, Delta label) only has 12 tracks, and the sound quality, while good, is not as "bright" as the Buddha CD, which has been nicely re-mastered. While this CD has most of the bigger hits, there are several tracks (e.g., "Nashville Cats", "Wild About My Lovin'") on the other version that I very much wanted. (In fairness, there is one song, "Other Side of This Life", that is unique to the Delta CD.) Learn from my mistake! Buy the CD on the Buddha label. For about the same price, you'll get more music that sounds even better.

(Great lyrics). Not all the hits or an anthology but a delightful spoonful of the Spoonful. Their biggest hits are here- Summer in the city,Do you believe in magic,You didn't have to be so nice, and Daydream.Cool tunes for twice the price. Excellent 60's pop/rock.
