5.0 out of 5 stars Lysie's mom
This belt got me through the last half of my pregnancy. I have back problems that were made worse by the weight of the baby. I still had some discomfort but was amazed by how much better I felt with this belt on. The only problem I had was that it made me itchy. I resolved that by wearing extra large mens sleeveless tshirts under my clothes and putting the belt over them.

2.0 out of 5 stars not too comfortable
I had horrible problems walking due to the pain in my cyatic nerve and this product did help with that but I didn't find it comfortable enough to wear all day. Sitting down cut off the circulation to my legs so I only used it when I knew I would be walking a lot. I have an even better product my OB introduced me to. It's called a Prenatal Cradle and is so comfortable that...

5.0 out of 5 stars A++++ I could not survive the 3rd trimester without it!!!, January 8, 2004

I've had sciatic nerve pain since 25 weeks and my OB recommended I wear a support belt. I should have purchased this much earlier in my pregnancy (I got it at 30 weeks). Even if you don't have sciatica I'd recommend this belt. I've had it for a few weeks now and wear it every day.

It's MUCH easier to use then it looks. At first I told my husband it looked to complicated and I didn't want to try it, but I was wrong, and the second I put it on my posture improved and I felt lighter.

I wear a tank top under it so the belt doesn't touch my skin directly. I find it help prevent itching or rubbing.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great Belly Support, January 6, 2006

I'm at 39 weeks and have been using the Loving Comfort belly support band for a couple of months. It needs to be worn over a tank top or high waisted maternity pants to eliminate the itch factor, but it supports my large belly very well and enables me to walk around basically pain/pressure free. I'm able to sit down with it as well. I tried on the back support and it was quite supportive but I haven't had to use it. I haven't tried the top belly band and don't really see a need for it. If the fabric was soft against the skin I would give this product 5 stars.

5.0 out of 5 stars Saving my back, October 3, 2005

I went looking for a maternity support on the suggestion of my midwife. I was having a lot of low back pain at 28 weeks which was keeping me up at night and making it difficult to sit for any length of time. I purchased Loving Comfort based on the reviews I'd read of all the products. So far, I am very pleased!

As soon as I put the Loving Comfort on, my back felt better, and I didn't feel like I needed to work to stand up straight anymore. And, I would disagree with the reviewer who said the back support digs in when you sit down (maybe she got the wrong size?). I find it much easier to sit comfortably with decent posture while wearing the support.

I had looked at other, narrower support previously, but they seemed to dig in mercilessly at first try. Loving Comfort has a nicely padded abdominal support, and the width of the back support portion really seems to distribute the weight comfortably. I didn't think I would like the strap that goes above the belly, but I love it! I'm under 5 feet tall, and so I've been having some pain in my ribs and lateral obliques as the baby runs out of vertical room. The belly strap takes that discomfort away, too.

Overall, it was well worth my money to get this measure of comfort!

4.0 out of 5 stars A must have, August 25, 2005

Working 12 hour shifts as an intensive care nurse I often developed back pain and lower abdomen strain. I bought and used this with my first son and it was a lifesaver! It eased my back pain and relieved the cramping sensation I would get in my lower abdomen if I stood or walked to long. I am now pregnant with my second child and needed a new support (old one was just worn out) and decided to purchase the Mom-EZ support instead. It had EXCELLENT concept of very easy application and easy adjustment but it really scratched my back alot even with padding. I ended up returning it and getting another one of the Loving Comfort supports. It's not as easy to apply as the Mom-EZ or to adjust but it is much more comfortable to wear.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great item!!!!, June 29, 2004

I started feeling pain up the right side of my side at about 21 weeks during my current pregnancy. My doctor said that it was ligament pain due to the stretching from my previous twin pregnancy. It got so bad that I couldn't be on my feet for longer than 10 minutes at a time without constant pain. My doctor suggested I look for a support belt. I saw this one and decided to try it since I had a family vacation coming up where I would need to be on my feet most of the day. I couldn't believe it but I walked around all day with no pain at all! What a lifesaver!

4.0 out of 5 stars Helpful, slight scratchiness, February 20, 2006
This review is from: Loving Comfort Maternity Support - Medium (Toy)
I have found this product helpful in reducing back and abdominal pain, particularly when standing or walking. Sometimes the velcro edges touch your skin and are slightly scratchy, which is annoying. I don't recommend it for long periods of sitting. Mostly comfortable when standing or walking.

4.0 out of 5 stars Loved it-BUT, February 19, 2006
This review is from: Loving Comfort Maternity Support - Medium (Toy)
I loved the Loving Comfort Support. I first bought the support from Motherhood, and was greatly disappointed. I had to go and buy the Loving Comfort the next week. It was totally worth the money. I am now 6 weeks pregnant with my second child and will be using it again when the time comes. I did like the back support but it did wrinkle after sitting for a while, but at least I could sit! I also wore a t-shirt under it to keep the belly strap from making me itch, but it was worth it. I will buy another when this one wears out!

I had such pain in my back, hips & pelvis that I had have my arm constantly under my belly lifting the weight off my hips & pelvis. Then I saw this in a pregnancy magazine, tried it on in the store & WOW! INSTANT RELIEF!! Plus it helps maintain proper posture. I highly recommend this to anyone who is experiencing any lower belly or back pain!!

5.0 out of 5 stars God Sent for my TWIN pregnancy!!, January 10, 2004
This review is from: Loving Comfort Maternity Support - Medium (Toy)
Ok, so I was put on house/bedrest at an early stage of my pregnancy, but getting up and walking with a Twin belly was So very difficult, I got this support belt at 18 weeks. and used it off and on, whenever I was standing for long periods of time, exspecially at the end of my pregnancy, as I was only 33 1/2 weeks, and was measuring the size of a woman would be at 42 weeks. I had the babies later at 34w 2d. I couldn't tell you more, this maternity belt is the brightest invention, for us women out there that suffer from back pains, due to a big big pregnant bellly! Thanks CMO!!
