This book is truly remarkable. I found it to be very informative. I am 25 and borrowed the book from a 40 yr old woman. I loved the ease of the reading and the examples of how you can improve if you want to. My only problem is that I can not find any good books that catch my fiancee and holds him. The book started out telling him he was wrong in ways and he got defensive and set the book down. Good for women to read but intimidates men in my opinion.

I can agree somewhat with the five year old review from the 25 yr old woman who states that her fiancee put this book down. It may intimidate some men. I am 50 yrs old and I guess I have had time in my life to become more humble and accepting of Godly correction. This book (the first half of THE JOY OF COMMITTED LOVE) was a Godsend to me and I learned many things about myself I didn't know. We men sometimes are hard-headed and go about our relationships like a bull in a china shop. Oblivious to the damage we are causing around us. And usually damaging the ones we love the most. A man must become close to God and humble himself first, before he can accept the principles outlined in the book. The second half of THE JOY OF COMMITTED LOVE is for women.Maybe a man can be more accepting of the half written for him if he is aware that the second half is for her. Come on guys...this book can save your marriage and make you the kind of guy she has always dreamed of. You will benefit GREATLY by her newfound admiration of you. GREAT BOOK!!!
