Danielle Monsch's imaginative tale of love and romance between a Fairy Godmother and the only Fairy Godfather has the perfect mixture of fairy tale, fantasy and a steamy romance. I was fascinated by the creative twist on fairy tale, which points out some of the human sides of the stories that get ignored or glossed over in children's versions; the issues of sex, physical attraction, and whether or not happily ever after can be had without something more than true love. I grew to love the relationship between the main characters, Tiernan and Reina, although I admit to an initial frustration that at first the attraction seemed only based on physical qualities. I yearned for some interaction between them that showed a love for something beyond the physical, especially as thirty years (in fairy land) have passed from Tiernan's initial wish to become a Fairy Godfather to this part of the story. I wanted more back story or more explanation of the tension before the move to steamy romance. Still I loved the story and the interaction between their story and that of Cinderella, whose Happily Ever After only comes when she accepts herself as a being able to give and receive love. An excellent read for anyone who loves a little fantasy and magic mixed with their romance.Sorry, we failed to record your vote. Reina, one of the head fairies never warmed up to Tiernan, but maybe that's because she secretly lusted after the unorthodox fairy. Affirming Tiernan among the ranks of fairy godmothers will take him finally giving a human a happily ever after, but to get there will mean letting go of his own dissolutions and maybe even finding his own with the fairy godmother of his dreams.
The love story between Tiernan and Reina was the story to watch. I enjoyed watching their love grow despite their personal issues. I didn't love the side story with Cinderella nearly as much as the main storyline. Overall, a very interesting and entertaining (oh and steamy) take on the fairy godmother idea. A great story for a reader looking for a steamy fantasy story with a familiar twist.Sorry, we failed to record your vote. I thought the story line was great and fun while the characters are just fun to read. The "fairy godfather" is such a HOT SEXY character that I fell for him right after reading his character. Great read! Give it a try and you will like this book as much as I do. :] Also, try Pleasure Satellite by this same author Danielle Monsch. That book was good too! ^^Sorry, we failed to record your vote. Then there's a threat to one and a need to get Cinderella married off Happily Ever After. This romp turns into a beautifully sexy love story; it's cheerful and original.Sorry, we failed to record your vote. Please try again1 of 1 people found the following review helpful By Night Owl Reviews on October 22, 2014Format: Kindle EditionI have always been a huge fan of fairy tales (no pun intended). Let me be the first to say, this saga is a perfectly enchanting fairy tale that I absolutely adored. Reina and Tiernan, the hero and heroine, are wonderful. Both characters are witty and engaging, and I would love to see more about them in future books. The rest of the characters are just as much fun, and made the story an utter blast. It was not too long or too short, but just the right length for a nice, easy read. The story itself was very easy to follow, however I was a bit surprised to see the story join in with a very well-known fairy tale, nevertheless they flowed seamlessly together. This is a wonderful story that lovers of fairy tales far and wide will love.
Tiernan didn’t want to die. This was supposed to be easy. Go in, slay the dragon, get the girl, ride away and save the day, right? Wrong. Darn Fairy Godmother gave him the wrong instructions, and now here he is, dying, with his guts in his hands. So what’s a dying knight supposed to do with his last wish? Why, wish to become a Fairy Godmother, of course! Tiernan does just exactly that, and now he’s the one and only male Fairy Godmother in their esteemed history. Talk about shaking up the ranks! All of the ladies like him, except one. Reina. And of course, she’s training him. But now he’s got a problem. The Elf King wants him dead. He needs a Happy Ever After to save his life. So off Tiernan and Reina go, to give Cinderella the Happy Ever After she deserves. But can they do it? And can they stop their squabbles long enough to realize their own feelings, before Tiernan’s time runs out?

I was absolutely delighted to find a Fairy Godpeople story with one of my favorite fairytales written into it. The premise is sweet, and the story will not disappoint the reader. Starting from page on,e this story will keep the reader riveted by the events and imagination of the author. I was hooked immediately.
I think this is probably my very first Fairy Godmother story, and if it isn't, it overshadows any other I may have read. The storyline is fresh and highly entertaining. The characters will take hold and make an imprint on your memory. I particularly enjoyed the humor-infused banter between the characters. The secondary characters do not play a huge part, but they are just as delightful as the main characters.
Ms. Monsch has a new fan in me, and I hope to see her writing many more books. She tells a wonderful tale and paints a vivid picture in the mind of her reader.Sorry, we failed to record your vote. Please try again
