Actually I gave this gift to myself for Mother's Day. I love it. The silver Mother with arms outstretched, holding the gems signifying the birthstones for children and grandchildren is such a neat reminder of what family can mean.The clasp is so easy to fasten, and the chain can be lengthened or shortened.

I was concerned the birthstone sequence would arrive incorrect because of a previous post, so instead of ordering through Amazon, I ordered directly through Carolyn Pollack Jewelry(Same price as Amazon). I sent them an email after ordering requesting a specific sequence of the birthstones. I also received a confirmation email stating my request had been noted on my order. The pendant arrived today and not one of the stones was in the correct sequence, they were placed at random.

This is a gift for my mother and she has 6 grandchildren and so I ordered six birthstones. My only other complaint is the pendant doesn't seem suited for 8 stones as stated in the product description, 6 seems like too many. The stones all clump together at the bottom of the pendant and looks disorganized. My wife thinks it's wonderful and that mom will love it, so what do I know.

I did send an email to Carolyn Pollack Jewelry and they promptly responded and offered to fix or replace it. I don't feel like messing with the return, so am going to fix it myself. It shouldn't be this difficult to get what you ask for.

The jewelry itself is amazing but I was disappointed to see that the birthstones were not in the order that I had request. I emailed them the order I wanted the birthstones in and I got an okay on it. So now I'm sitting here prying all the jumprings and re-ordering them. I would have given them a 5 if they decided to listen to me. So be ready to do some work if you want the birthstones in the right order!

happy with purchase for my mother who is going to be a grandma for the 2nd time. bought current granddaughter's stone and new babys stone. It was bigger than i thought but, thats not a negative.

The necklace is lovely though I'm pretty disappointed in the chain itself. Nothing more then an elastic band and is very flimsy. Having the necklace put onto a sturdier chain.

I gave this to my daughter for Christmas, and had her 2 sons birthstones put in it. With having 2 small boys in the home under the age of 3, having a chain this flimsy just won't last long.

Otherwise its beautiful.

It is better than the picture gives it credit for. It came with my charms attached for me :). I think it is just beautiful. Very happy.

I brought this product for my wife's mother's 60th birthday, with three birth stones. One birth stone for each of my children. She loved it. She said that she loved that it was light weight even with the three stones on it. She said that she enjoyed that she barely noticed that she was wearing it. She never wants to take it off and she liked that it was made in the U.S.A. which makes her even more proud to wear it. I'm very happy that I made the choice to by this as a grandma pendant even though that it says mother's loving embrace.

This is a beautiful gift for a mother or grandmother. It will come exactly as described and shines beautifully. I like that you can add more birthstones as the family grows!
