AJ Book Better Left To Dream,
This review is from: Loving A.J.: My 6-Year Romance with a Backstreet Boy (Paperback)
It was'nt at all that I expected by any account. Although it was a nice memoir and showcased A.J. in a most sweet & sincere light, it left much to be desired. The book is very thin, with little insight into the real trials & tribulations of being a "Backstreet Girl". But on the bright side, it was'nt a sleezy tell-all like some thought that it would be. But the pics are nice (of course anything with A.J. is nice!:) My final comments: ONLY DIE-HARD A.J. FANATICS would consider this one a keeper.

Good Pictures; Very Little Said,

I don't think you could really call this a book--it's more like a scrapbook or photo album. I learned perhaps 2 things about AJ that I hadn't heard before. It is definitely NOT the tell-all book it has been hyped to be--which is probably a good thing. The pictures are great--obviously mostly from her personal collection, as there are pics of Backstreet Boys sleeping, and at family celebrations. Very precious and priceless picture of Brian and Nick in younger years sound asleep on a couch. There is one picture of AJ in the bathtub--not too revealing--thank goodness. All in all, not a big price to pay for some really great pictures, but not much of anything else.

Maybe I'm the only one that feels this way...I would never read this book, let alone give money to this Marisa person by endorsing it. I think it's dishonest and deceitful for someone to capitalize on an ex's success. If Alex won't endorse her book, why should I? BSB forever!

i must admit i bought this book. But when i read it i learned nothing that i haddent know of aj. In the book she put poems that aj had writen to her but she blocked them out, then why did she even put them in there if she didnt want people to read them? I strongly suggest u dont bye this book.

Many people thought this book was bad and AJ didn't concent to it, but he did. It said in the authur review. I find this a great book, with cool pics. I think it's sweat and if AJ doesn't have a problem with it, why should we? We always seem to want everything from them and nothing from their GF, why not?

Okay...I love AJ to death and I'm glad that she wrote this book to inform other AJ fans out there of how the real AJ is. I mean, a real AJ fan could be nothing but grateful for such a inciteful depiction of the man himself. I love the fact that she gathered old pictures and letters....but what I didn't like was the fact that of the letters that she wanted to keep private...she really shouldn't have published them and then covered them up.. I was overall happy with the book.PS and what in the world does "Dino" mean?

I really liked it,
This review is from: Loving A.J.: My 6-Year Romance with a Backstreet Boy (Paperback)
I thought the book was very intresting. I learned that AJ is very romantic and that he likes to write poetry a lot. I also liked the photos in there. I really think it gives out a lot of info.

I got this book in a trade [thank god I didn't have to pay for it]. I love the pictures but I think the poems that AJ wrote her were a bit too personal to be putting in a book. Those were AJ's innermost feelings for her and I doubt AJ would want them to be revealed to the world. Also I was expecting an actual book but it's like one of those kiddy books you got when you were young.

This is DA BOMB!,

I don't see how you can say this book is bad. It shows a soft and sweet side we usually don't see in AJ. You also know that you love AJ if you bought this book, so you know you love those pictures. And it seems to me that Marisa still loves him and is not trying to get revenge like some people think by showing all these things. So for my rating...5 stars. Buy the book, you WON'T regret it.

IF YOU ARE A "REAL" FAN, YOU WON'T BUY THIS BOOK!,

This is a total exploitation of AJ by someone who was supposed to care enough about him not to tell the world about his private life! Describing their relationship a little bit would have been fine, if that's what she really wanted to do. But come on, LOVE LETTERS AND POEMS? AJ wrote those because he cared about her and thought she cared too, and they were meant to be kept between the two of them as reminders of their love! Feel free to please email me if you have any comments on this.
