More About the Author

Rosemarie Naramore's fondest desire has always been to write fiction. She was delighted when her first romance novel, "Just in Time," was published by Avalon Books. She went on to write three other lighthearted romances for Avalon--"Armed and Disarming," "The Detour," and "Lacey's Homecoming," as well as a mystery entitled "The Listing Agent." When Amazon acquired Avalon in 2012, her second mystery/police procedural, "Deputy Down," was published under the Thomas & Mercer imprint. She is pleased that her romance novels have been released by Amazon under their Montlake imprint.

Rosemarie has self-published a varied selection of e-books available exclusively from Amazon. From middle grade horror to young adult fantasy, from romance to mystery, Rosemarie has tried it all. She enjoys writing in the aforementioned genres and may even explore others.

Award-winning author Rosemarie Naramore lives and writes in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. She is married to a deputy sheriff. Her readers have no doubt discovered that law enforcement officers are often featured prominently in her books. She hopes you'll find her heroes and heroines 'arresting' and that her books provide an entertaining respite from the demands of busy lives.

This was a very sweet, clean christian romance. Characters were very likable. The kids' efforts to get their father and neighbor together were adorable, comical and a little reckless at the same time.

This book is a quick sweet read. It touches your heart and reminds you of how easily we can make the wrong conclusions but God can fix any misunderstandings. Everything looks different through the eyes of a child. Good clean read.

It was a dating game gone good. Loved the kids inspiring to become a family again. Enjoyed the simple input of the Christian faith in their relationship! Marriage, love, family and God. It doesn't get any better. :)

For the most part the book was an enjoyable read, but the editing on the book almost made me quit reading it several times. The boy in the book went through at least three name changes. Sometimes he was referred to as Markey, sometimes Marcey, and at least once as Ricky. I found this to be completely annoying and even the main character's name was changed at one point. Despite the poor editing, the story was enjoyable, but I hope the issues are taken care of and corrected soon so someone new reading the book can just read it through without the irritation.

. Predictable but nicely written and quick to read. I would read this author again, although I would probably not pay for it.

It was a good clean read, which seem to be getting more difficult to find. So, I loved that part. I wish the writer would have been more careful and had it edited. The writing was simple, so it seemed to have been written for a young audience, but that is fine with me, too. Just trying to let you know what it was like...

It is a Christian themed book, so I love that, too - it was not preachy though. The kids were so cute and the ending was not a shocker, but I wanted it to have the happy ending that it did!

Good mental fluff.

I would certainly read other books by this author.

The story itself was okay. There wasn't anything earth-shattering in it. It was just a sweet story about how to adults came together as a result of two lonely children. They helped each other out and she took care of the children. The ending was really, really sweet.

The thing that annoyed me was the editing mistakes in this book. I've read a lot of books and seen my fair share of mistakes, but nothing like this. Not only was the boy's name (Marky, I believe) changed in spelling and pronunciation, but Dan's name was changed to Don a couple times...
