Loving A Prodigal, December 24, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Loving a Prodigal: A Survival Guide for Parents of Rebellious Children (Hardcover)
This is the most comprehensive "How to" book ever written on dealing with a prodigal. You will see yourself in it and what you may need to change in order to effect a reconciliation. A WONDERFUL BOOK TO READ BEFORE YOUR PRODIGAL BECOMES ONE. Wonderful poems, letters, etc. to use to express how you feel. Even if you don't have a prodigal child, there usually are other prodigals in your life and this book can show you basically how to relate to them. I can't think of any other book that comes even close to this one and I highly recommend it! In addition to the two I bought today, I am ordering 3 more!

A compassionate and practical guide for hurting parents, January 19, 2004
By A Customer
This review is from: Loving a Prodigal: A Survival Guide for Parents of Rebellious Children (Hardcover)
I agree with the reviewer that said this is by far the most helpful book written for those who love a prodigal. I felt as if this pastor had his arm around my shoulder and was walking me through my ordeal, putting it into perspective. Wright is enormously helpful in providing the dos and don'ts of communicating with a prodigal, scripture that explains a prodigal's nature, and ways to be a influence while learning how and when to let go. If you love a prodigal, do yourself a favor and read the wise and tender counsel of this pastor/author.
