Kimberly Canter is tired of coming in second to her husband's businesses. She thought that after seventeen years of marriage, two children, several successful business, and all the material things they could possibly want; she and Jack would spend some quality time together. However, due to events that happened to both their families while growing up, they both are having difficulty with letting go of insecurities. When Kim and Jack go on a second honeymoon and Jack works most of the time, Kim knows things have got to get better or it's just a matter of time. When things don't get better after they get back from their trip, Kim puts Jack out of the house. Just as Kim is having second thoughts about putting Jack out, she discovers she is pregnant. She knows Jack will do the right thing and come back home. She thinks that's why they got married in the first place. Kim wants Jack to come back on his own. The kids also want their father back home and will stop at nothing to get him back. Jack also wants to come back home because he truly loves his wife and kids. Now all Jack has to do is convince his wife she can't live without him.
Loving Spoonful by Candice Poarch is a wonderful story with a nice twist. The book is about a couple that has been married for several years and just needs to put the romance back into their relationship. Loving Spoonful also reaches an audience of mature, married individuals that enjoy reading about characters that they can identify with. Poarch does a great job with character development, both primary and secondary. She also has a nice writing style that flows without having lagging moments. Good read!

Loving spoonful..catchy title., May 3, 2011
This was an enjoyable read. It is about taking the small things for granted. How two people have two different ideas about how success and family should be. This book reminds readers that one significant event can change your perception of what is real, what is factual, and what is perceived. A good read.
