Kyla has made a life for herself in spite of her past. She concentrates on her work and does not get involved with men, or expect to marry. Marc Nathan comes into her life because she owns a business on a property that he needs for new development. As she gets to know Marc, Kyla begins to believe that she can live a normal life with him in spite of her past. They marry, but her terror of physical closeness and his angry response to it lead them towards divorce.The ending of this book is a tender and emotional finish to a very moving story. |
