We have this book along with its companion, "Loving Your Wife." They are decent Bible study guides to help you in your marriage. If you've already been having daily Bible study together, though, you may not find these books particularly useful. They would be especially helpful, however, if you're new to Bible study or if Biblical principles are lacking in either of your lives.

Personally, my husband and I benefitted much more from Stormie O'Martian's books, "The Power of a Praying Wife" and "The Power of a Praying Husband." O'Martian lays out how to turn your spouse over to the Lord, pray effectively for him/her, with lots of scriptural references.

I recommend that you start with O'Martian's books, and purchase these to use as a guide to get you started in daily Bible study as a couple.

Now this is what we need. A journey into one of our most personal relationships. This is an in depth exploration of how our spiritual relationship with the Lord effects the other relationship most dear to us!

Wonderful curriculum for a Bible Study or just a great way to improve your marriage, change your heart and in turn make your home a much happier place. I pray you will open your heart to the wonderful changes God has in store for you through this fantastic curriculum. Use it in conjunction with J. Vernon McGee and William Barclay's commentaries to make it an even richer experience. Over thirty women in our Bible Study were touched by this study and grew into women of mature love and wisdom.

We are doing this study at our church. It is so good, practical and full of wisdom.

If you came from a family where your parents were constantly disrespectful and hateful to one another or even ambivalent, there is a fear and insecurity that you bring to marriage. Will I be like my Mom or Dad? This study was extremely helpful to me in searching out the hope that Jesus offers to those who seek His guidance in the bible. God's principles, when followed can redeem generations of families caught in the cycle of marital dis-function. This was an excellent start in the process. Of further help is the book, Love and Respect.

This is a great Bible study for women of all ages who want to love their husbands the way God intended them to. It helps women evaluate how they respond to their husbands in different situations, as well as, get their husbands' opinion in these same areas. Very helpful for communication.

A great bedside book for all women!
