I'm biased, but this is lovely.

I've made no pretense about it: Georgia O'Keefe is my all-time favorite artist.

When I first discovered this book some twenty-odd years ago, I was captivated by her warm and personable style; her wit and observations as she exchanged letters back and forth with her dear friend, Anita Pollitzer.

How the editors got hold of all of the letters from both amazing women is beyond me (the book is about an inch thick... all correspondence between the two), but to chronicle their lives through their charming letters is to share in a truly amazing friendship.

When my house burned down, I lost my first copy of this book. I was ecstatic to find it once again on Amazon.com. If you love Georgia O'Keefe's art, or simply love well-written and heartfelt letters, do yourself a favor and order this book. You won't be disappointed!
