Lovingly Yours - don't tell me that Millie is going all-romantic on us all of a sudden??? Uh uh - right from the first track it's 'You Can't Turn Me Off (In The Middle Of Turning Me On)' and some more good advice from the ballsy Ms. Jackson. This 1976 Brad Shapiro production continues Millie's exploration of sexual politics, as she once more takes on the role of president, war minister and secretary for the state of affairs. Female backing vocals are handled by Brandy and the male side by The Moments on these 10 superb sides, which include songs from Homer Banks and Allen Toussaint among others. Highlights are "Rollin' With The Punches"
her credible AWB's cover of "A Love Of Your Own"
and "From Her Arms Into Mine." There's also
a little disco gem called "Body Movements" that
is hot.
