Editorial Reviews

Low Back Pain Intermediate Exercises - Part 2 of the "Video Comprehensive Rehabilitation Exercise Series" for Low Back Pain Rehabilitation. This series helps each person develop their own rehab/exercise routine at home. Depending upon your current level of activity, you will find a starting point that meets your individual performance level. The levels for each series are Gentle, Intermediate, Advanced and some have Strengthening. The Intermediate exercises have been found to be beneficial for those who have been decreased strength and limited mobility and moderate pain . "Get Moving To Get Better" is our motto on these tapes, and the sooner you start, the better chances you have to prevent adhesions, promote agility of joints, and decrease incompacitation. The intermediate exercises have also been prescribed to those with arthritis or other joint immobilizing diseases to help promote mobility and maintain joint integrity, with GREAT SUCCESS! The VCR Exercise Series was developed for professionals such as Physicians, Chiropractors, and Physical Therapists to prescribe to their patients as a way for them to do rehab exercises at home, to ensure a speedy recovery. Over 100 exercises that have been used over the years for strengthening and rehab were reviewed by a Rehabilitation specialist, and with patient feedback we have selected the best exercises to strengthen the injured area to maximum function and help prevent further injury. The VCR Series can save you thousands of dollars in costly Medical Rehabilitation, and has only recently been made available for direct purchase to the public. Physician supervision is recommended for all exercises in the series. Other tapes available in the VCR Series are Low Back, Neck, Shoulder, Elbow, Hand/Wrist, Hip, Knee, and Foot/Ankle.

5.0 out of 5 stars Low Back Pain Intermediate exercises, August 9, 2000

This review is from: Low Back Pain Intermediate Exercises [VHS] (VHS Tape)
We have found great success with this video in rehabilitating patients that have been injured due to a car accident, a slip or fall or a job related injury. The Low Back Pain Intermediate Exercise Video was used after the acute pain subsided in order to promote mobility and prevent adhesions. It was also used by less agile patients to maintain mobility of their joints on a preventive basis. When the patients could do the Intermediate Exercise Video with only mild difficulty, they were given the Low Back Pain Advanced Exercises video. The Low Back Pain Strengthening Video Exercises were given to patients to do indefinately to prevent further injury, and part of an anti-aging program to help keep their backs strong and joints well lubricated so they could maintain mobility and activity which enhanced their quality of life.
