Great tasting recipes! Pictures of each Recipe!,

This review is from: Low-Calorie Cookbook (Hardcover)
This is a Great Low Calorie Recipe book. I have personally made several recipes for my family and they love each of them. The proportions are good and most are easy to make. This book has full color pictures of each recipe. I will not use a cookbook unless there is a picture with the recipe. If the food is visually attractive then I am interesting in making the dish. I wish more cookbooks with include pictures of the dish with the recipes.
I highly recommend the following recipes: Sticky Ribs Shrimp Bisque Stir-Fried Beef with Mango Pan-Fried Turkey Scallops with Citrus-Honey Sauce You will enjoy this cookbook!

This has become one of my favorite all-around cookbooks (low calorie or not).
Pros: Pictures with every recipe Recipes separated by course and then by calorie count Everyday recipes and special occasion recipes Cons: some hard to find ingredients (e.g. gooseberries) - most are garnish though Lots of usage of ramekins, which not everyone may have Not digging the binding (too stiff - hard to stay open)

The recipes are ok but at times complicated. This is really more for weekend cooking than for everyday meals.
