The recipes sounded good although some instructions were
not written clearly. I found many included ingredients not
commom to those of us in the United States. I never heard of
some items beofre. The illustrations were very nice.

If you are having a hard time losing weight, your best start is to ditch the carbs by trying to take in 100 grams or less a day, if you can. If you are not a picky eater and/or love chicken, beef etc..., this book is an awesome addition with quite a few nice recipes. I really do love the fact the author lists down the nutritional facts on each recipe. There are a few vegetarian selections, but not as many as I'd hope for (plus the biggest burning point is that I won't eat eggs, which are used in some of these recipes). Nonetheless, it is still a bargain buy.
