This book, along with the rest of the collection, is a collaborative effort of a number of highly experienced low carb cooks, and this wide range of authors means that you are sure to find lots of recipes that you will love. These books are perfect for anyone who thinks that a low carb or Keto diet means your choices are restricted - instead, they will prove that food can be good and good for you no matter what direction your tastes run. New in Vol 4 is the organization, no longer by author, but by category, so all Soups and Appetizers, for example, are in one section; ditto for Main Dishes, Sides, Desserts, etc. - a nice improvement.

For anyone looking for wholesome, healthy food that is good for you and not loaded with sugars and starches, you can't go wrong with these books.

I own all of the Low-Carb-ing Among Friends Cookbooks. The broad range of recipes are very helpful, and I really like that they use many sources, doctors, experts, etc. All the contributors have been on low carb consumption for a long time, and have valuable input. I like the extra comments and hints that are throughout the books. Most of the recipes do not call for unusual ingredients. Once you have the basic needs of low carb eating, it is pretty easy to make the recipes.
I am looking forward to volume six.

A great collaboration by my low carb friends who develop and share wonderful recipes with anyone who wants to achieve a healthy lifestyle. There are pictures in the center pages of the cookbook which are great, I wish there were more, pictures really help IMHO. If a recipe sounds good and the picture looks good, it's a definite give it a try recipe to me. If I'm not sure about the written recipe but see a picture it can entice me to try the recipe, often with very good results. Give these cookbooks a try, you won't be disappointed.

These cook books just keep getting better. Always something new and exciting.
I just cooked two different recipes for cheesy, easy muffins. So delicious.
Moist and keep well in fridge and into microwave for a quickie little 'bread' that
goes so well with soups, salads or entrees.

Keep on cooking all you wonderful low carb chefs.

This really was a gem of a book. I have made several excellent delightful meals (even for my picky spouse) with this volume already and truly I can't say enough positive words except simply to say that it is was totally worth the cost I paid for it. I usually like to write the negatives so I will. The only bad thing I can say about this book is some of the recipes reference previous other volumes in the recipes. That is somewhat frustrating to me, but I understand the marketing point and really the author should be supported because it is a great recipe book.

Some of the recipe ingredients are a little pricey, but well worth it. As a newly diagnosed diabetic I was struggling with everything I would have to 'give up'. With this I have been able to eat dessert again. I love to cook, and learning how to cook sugar free is a new challenge. This book will help me with the basics so I can start tweaking my own recipes.

Jennifer Eloff has done it again! She has rounded up an amazing team of talented low-carb and gluten free chefs to collaborate on a truly marvelous collection of nearly 200 delectable low-carb and gluten free recipes in Volume 4 of her latest cookbook series, Low-Carbing Among Friends. Just when I think her cookbooks can’t get any better…… they do just that! Volumes 4 includes color photographs this time, something I really like in a cookbook. Categories include Appetizers, Soups, Salads, Breakfast, Main Dishes, Sides, Breads and Desserts! What more could you ask for? Anything your little old heart desires CAN be had on a low-carb eating program. And even better, the recipes have already been tested! You don’t have to worry about failures or wasted ingredients!

The kitchen gurus sharing their recipes include Maria Emmerich of MariaMindBodyHealth, well-known in the low-carb community, DJ from DJFoodie, Lisa Marshall of 24-7 LowCarbDiner, Carolyn Ketchum, the creative chef at the popular blog AllDayDreamAboutFood, Judy Barnes Baker of LowCarbWars.blogspot and Karen Sorenson, who cooks up a storm over at LowCarbOneDayAtATime. I have followed the creativity of these cooks for over 4 years now, before this collaborative cookbook series was even “hatched”. Several other talented cooks participated as well. Even the well-known George Stella of StellaStyle has contributed some of his tasty recipes! The late Cr. Robert Su of Carbohydrates Can Kill and Steve Parker, M.D. have shared invaluable medical information supportive of healthy low-carb and gluten free lifestyles!

GET YOURS TODAY! You won't be sorry you did!
