One of the advantages of piano rolls is that they can be used to recreate the original sound, and be recorded with modern equipment. All but one of these rolls were cut by the young Fats Waller during the twenties, and one finds him duetting with his mentor James P. Johnson. No Fats Waller enthusiast should be without it.
