This is a great cd all the way thru. The title "Low Fidelity" refers to the state of the relationships described within. Just the simple truth here, but done in a jazzy blues way. The production values are awesome and Treasa has a great voice. This is one to share with your friends.

Treasa Levasseur was one of new discoveries for many - including me - at this year's Philadelphia Folk Festival. From the moment she began singing at the keyboard in morning workshop, through her main stage performance a few nights later, this Canadian singer-songwriter captured the ear of all who heard her. This CD shows why: Great voice, insightful lyrics and killer arrangements. Nearly all the songs have to do with personal relationships, which seems to be the subject Levasseur knows best. But her instrumental prowess is superb as well. And you'll need way more than two hands to count the number of fine musicians she brings to the session.
Based on this album, I'll be looking out for more from Levasseur. If you've not discovered her yet, check out some samples and I think you'll find yourself hooked the way I was. Steve Ramm "Anything Phonographic"
