Naval Patrol Squadron 104 Liberators in the South Pacific,
By Len (Melbourne, FL) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Low level Liberators: The story of Patrol Bombing Squadron 104 in the South Pacific during World War II (Paperback)
This is the story of one year for Naval Patrol Squadron 104 in the South Pacific. It was their second combat tour. The planes flew mostly alone in heavily defended enemy territory. They sunk many enemy ships and shot down enemy aircraft. They flew Liberators that the Navy designated PB4Y-1. I found it an interesting account.
