Quite simply Crandall is an options genius. He takes a tough subject and makes it easy to understand. That said, bottom line is CAN HE MAKE YOU MONEY in today's market? Take his advise and you'll be paying off your house like I did. A MUST READ for any serious investor...period!

I would not recommend this book for options traders of any experiance level. The book is written in very basic language that experianced traders will find little to help them and the strategies for new options traders are dangerous directional plays that I personally would not recommend to any options trader. While the author states that less capital is exposed by trading options my thought was that the risk associated with that exposure through the recommended strategies would cause novice traders to lose consistantly. The problem with the very basic approach to trading used in this book is that options are priced in a way that requires a more in depth knowledge base so traders are aware of the risk. One of the writers strategies is to buy options at the close of the market in hopes that the underlying stock bounces at the open the next day!!
I think beginners would be served best by not buying this book. I feel as though I wasted my money.

This book starts out very basic (BORING) then takes off into the world of options trading, making it very difficult to put down! Has opened up a whole new world for me... get it.

Simply the best book about options I have ever read. Anyone can make money with this book and with very little investment. I recommend to all
