AWESOME,

We had a trip planned to Havasu Falls in the Grand Canyon during the Thanksgiving holidays. I needed a pair of boots for a 30 mile hike in 3 days over rough terrain. The Lowa Women's Renegade GTX Mid Hiking Boot was my second purchase (returned the first). These boots fit very well. They are true to size, but might fit a little narrow. I have experienced problems with plantar fasciitits for over a year. These boots did not aggravate this problem at all. We did not get to hike the Grand Canyon. (Havasu Canyon experienced a flash flood prior to our visit and is closed until the spring.) However, I have worn these shoes almost daily and did get to hike in the Red Rock area around Sedona, AZ without any problem. I have walked in mud, wet grass, streams and didn't get my feet wet. They handle rocky ground comfortably and support my ankles well. Best of all, they provide excellent traction in wet conditions. The seams and sole are holding up well. I did change the footbed. I ordered a SOLE (SOFTEC ULTRA) heat moldable footbed and absolutely love them. I can definitely recommend these boots.
