Fantastic Hiking Shoes,
This review is from: Lowa Women's Tempest Lo Approach Shoe (Apparel)
I purchased a pair over 8 years ago to hike into and out of the Grand Canyon. These shoes not only got me down and back, but they have protected my feet ever since. I have purchased several other pairs as well and wear them instead of sneakers. I recommend them to anyone who has sensitive feet. They protect the soles of my feet and have been comfortable to wear from the start.

Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Lowa Women's Tempest Lo Approach Shoe (Apparel)
I bought a size 11M. The fit was good. I tried them on at the end of the day, as is recommended when trying on shoes. But the more I walked in these, the more irritated the tops of my big and little toes became. What bothered me was the seams where all the leather parts come together near the base of the lacing. Though the inside of the shoes is lined, I could still feel the seams rubbing on my affected toes. Also the shoes appear to be narrow across the width or it could be that because I have bunions on both feet that they felt tight even after I loosen the lacing. It's a really nice shoe but I couldn't keep them. Also note: if you return shoes back to Amazon due to anything else but their error you will pay for return shipping.
