I also thought this was a new Pearl Jam CD and pre ordered it. I was very disappointed to receive an unauthorized interview CD. BUYER BEWARE

While I have not yet opened it, and cannot offer a full review of the product, it is only after receiving it in the mail that I am seeing the words "this CD set is not authorised by Pearl Jam, their record companies or management". None of this was clearly stated in the Amazon page. Very little was offered as a description at all!!

Since it was a pre-order only when I purchased it, I wrongly assumed it was the new album that is due to come out.

Buyers beware!!!!

My bad I guess, but I thought I was buying some music. I really feel screwed and stupid. Amazon and Pearl Jam, you should be ashamed of yourselves. GFY.

Shame on me for not reading reviews before I purchased. I usually don't read music reviews on Pearl Jam as I like to hear it first then comment. This isn't even music it's an audio CD.

Like others, I came across this listed on Amazon under music, and thought, oh, new Pearl Jam album. Just bought it as a pre-release. Hard to get any not top 40 CD's in my area any more with Circuit City closed. Arrived the other day and astounded to see it as an interview only CD- NO MUSIC. Amazon, I was a fan. You have mislead us. There is no indication in your product description that this has no music. Shame on you. If it is an authorized release from PJ, shame on them also. As for those judging us buyers for not being more informed, well some of us are just plenty busy and rely on our usually reliable sources to provide info. Lesson learned this time. Amazon has certainly dropped the ball on this one. And I will not soon forget their action....

I am disappointed because, like many others discussed in their reviews, I thought I was buying a CD with new music from Pearl Jam, and while in their official website they states that the new album comes out in the last quarter, I assumed that I was already doing its pre-order on Amazon. Imagine what I think listening a boring CD of interviews ... really not worth it

Forget the 1 star reviews from the morons who can't read and thought it was a record. I bought this knowing it was a biography/interview. It is an extremely horrible biography. Most of the info is from the time of the Ten Album (1991). I would love to hear the guys talk about an album after VS. The interviews are just lots of thrown together small clips with widely varying audio quality. The "interview" is a hodgepodge of statements - nothing coherent. The "biography" disc is some lady reading info - probably from their wikipedia page. The bio is almost anti-Pearl Jam or more to the point anti Eddy Vedder. SAVE YOUR MONEY!!! Walk away slowly.

I'm in Iraq and my wife was doing something nice for me. She said "Hey, did you hear that Pearl Jam is coming out with a new album?" I said no. I don't really get time to check stuff like that out over here. She said she pre-ordered the album and said it shipped about two weeks ago. I sat and I sat, anxiously awaiting this new album. I just received it today and thought "How strange that the new album would be in such a large box?" I opened the wrapper and peeked inside to find two cases staring at me. One said "Unauthorised Biography" and the other "X-Posed - The Interview". I flipped the big box to the back and noticed that the label was someone called "Sexy Intellectual" I then cursed and used my valuable internet time to find out about this fictitious(to me) Pearl Jam album. I see that it's not out yet. I then spend more of my valuable time writing a review so that others will not be duped the way my wife was (who is not a Pearl Jam fan so I can't blame her for not really being in the know) Thanks Amazon!

It's good to see that I wasn't the only one that got screwed by Amazon. I was also under the impression that it was Pearl Jam's new album. Even the Minneapolis Star-Tribune had it listed under "Tuesday releases".

I opened mine and saw that I had been ripped off by Amazon! By Amazon's policy I can only get a partial refund. Screw that! I was (repeat WAS) a regular customer, but guess what - NOT ANY MORE! Maybe we should all band together and start a class action suit against Amazon. This is definitely a case of Fraud!

Give a cheesy interview album a crafty name, then dupe people out of their money for it.... what a marketing ploy! Just remove this "CD" entirely from amazon! All it's doing is confusing people.
