I bought this during Amazons Black Friday Week deals. I had recently purchased the Garmin nüvi 205W 4.3-Inch Widescreen Portable GPS Navigator and wanted a case for it when not in use. I have to admit that it was the price that sold me and not necessarily the reviews. After all a 3 star average isn't that great. But I was willing to take the chance and I'm glad I did. I can easily fit my GPS, the 12V adapter with cord and a couple extra disks in the Lowepro 4.3-Inch Navi Shield GPS Carrying Case. I also have no problem zipping it up without any force or worry about applying too much pressure. The case is firm without being to hard and small enough to put in my purse or travel bag. The reason I didn't give it 5 stars is the inflated price. Had it not of been on sale, I would have passed it over. If you're looking to buy keep an eye on price fluctuations, a discount of $8 or more off the list price would be worth it.

This is a great case for the Nuvi 285wt and accessories. It fits perfect the Nuvi and the Cigarette Lighter Charger and the cord. PLENTY OF ROOM!!! A great buy for a 4.3 inch Nav

The case is exactley as advertised. It is large enough to carry my Garmin 755T with the cables needed to connect it. It can't hold the mount but it isn't reasonable to assume it would anyway. A smaller case would have worked better to carry the unit with me but i use it when I travel and it protects the unit as it should and keeps the cable from tangling with the other cables I carry. I read other reviews that said that the loop is worthless but if you really want to carry it comfortably you can attach it to a caribeener and hook it to your belt. One note of caution that actually helped me. It doesn't fit in my console like my old smaller one did so I am less likely to leave it in the car. That's a good thing. Now I just need to remember that when I park on a street I need to disconnect the suction cup from the windsheild and clean the glass so there is no evidence I might have a GPS worth stealing. What a pain. Next I will invest in shatter proof glass to prevent theives from breaking in.

I bought this case to hold my nuvi 3790T model. It's an excellent product for the price.

It has enough room and protection for the GPS, car power adapter, and the separate speaker attachment. It's not bulky as it fits everything together with no extra room. You can't put the suction cup in there...those should be on the car permanently anyway. The more you remove the suction cup, the less desirable it becomes in sticking to the glass. So, it's better to leave those on the windows permanently.

Overall, it's a great product for the price. I recommend this to anyone who need a case that want to put the main accessories together. If you want a case just for the GPS without the accessories, then you might consider something else that has a perfect slim fit for a nuvi 37xx series.

I was looking for a case for my Garmin Nuvi 1390LMT and was considering the smaller cases around but I felt their quality was sub par and it didn't provide good enough protection. Maybe that is why some pouch cases are selling for so cheap! And I have to question how much protection are those open sided leather cases really providing. Maybe they can protect just the screen from scratches but what about scratches on the top of the bezel, dust and drops? With those smaller soft pouch cases and leather cases, I could see a drop easily break the GPS. With this Lowepro case, it feels like my GPS is more secured and can actually take a drop without breaking. The Lowepro case is a hard case but has a little softness bend to it. It won't shatter if you drop it like cheap plastic case. What is in the case? I didn't realize until I opened the case that it came with a nice MICROFIBER CLOTH so you always have a clean GPS. Great idea! It also has a nice PADDED POCKET for the GPS and multiple compartments for accessories. This case provided more protection than the other cases, microfiber cloth, padded pocket and multiple compartments and yet can still be carried around with ease but not in your shirt or pant pocket. I heard some people complain that it isn't large enough to carry the mount. That is a good thing because the mount is far too big and would have to make the case far too big. I don't want a case the size of a textbook. And the mount shouldn't be taken on and off everyday as it would just wear the suction cup out. And if you are really concerned about theft and believe the suction cup mount on the dash or window is an invitation, you should check out the portable friction mount. I would suggest for people to get this GPS case.

In fact, the item was not shipped until January 6th. It still arrived on the last day of the estimate, but I should not have been notified of the shipping until it was actually shipped."

This case fits a Nuvi 205 just fine. There is also plenty of room for you to carry additional items, like batteries, earphones, charger, etc (including non-GPS accessories, like MP3 player extras, and USB cables). The exterior is molded and very hard, so it will prevent the electronics inside from being squeezed. It also looks great and very professional (it's quite large though, so keep that in mind when buying, but there is a more compact version of it here on Amazon). Overall I really like it, and can recommend it. If you're looking for a large GPS navigator carrying case, this will fit your needs.

I bought this carrying case for my GPS and the GPS went in fine but I also wanted to put the GPS car charger in the carrying case, which after playing with it for a while was finally able to zip it up, but it was a tight fit.
I think it could have been a bit roomier, but for the most part I like it.

A salesperson at Best Buy suggested that I take a look at this case when I couldn't find anything that met my needs specifically designed for the Droid. As it happens, this case is perfect for travel (though a bit bulky for daily use) where I need to carry the phone, earbuds, charge cable, travel charger plug, and an extra battery.

Not the highest quality materials, but at the price it certainly deserves four stars at least.

While a little on the bulky side, this case is of good quality. There are actually multiple places that the GPS would fit - in the front with the microfiber cloth against the screen, in the velcro compartment, or in the back nylon mesh compartment.

The cables and our Garmin nüvi 255W 4.3-Inch Widescreen Portable GPS Navigator (Factory Refurbished) fit in the case easily, and if I had a need, it would also fit some batteries, memory cards, or other small accessories.

Overall, a stylish albeit bulky case that will certainly protect our GPS unit. As for other reviews - I think this is designed for the GPS unit and small accessories, not the cradle and such. And I just double checked, and both zippers work fine on my unit, so perhaps that was just a bad batch.
