I just got the Lowepro Apex 5 AW case to hold a Canon PowerShot SD630 and it fits perfectly. There's also a tiny pouch for a memory card and a slot for an extra battery. It seems very durable, padded well, and will hold up well against wear & tear. The all weather cover is a nice touch; one edge is sown on to the case and tucks into its own pocket. The shoulder strap is standard with swivel clips. The belt clip is secured with Velcro and seems strong enough to stay on regardless of the activity. Overall I'm very pleased with this case.

I've been a Lowepro customer for years, and their quality is always top notch. This case is no exception. It is rugged, compact (tiny even!), great zipper quality, and comes with a weather shield.

It fits both of my ultra-compact canons very snugly:
sd770is: Canon PowerShot SD770IS 10MP Digital Camera with 3x Optical Image Stabilized Zoom (Silver)
sd1100is: Canon PowerShot SD1100IS 8MP Digital Camera with 3x Optical Image Stabilized Zoom (Blue)

Anything larger than these cameras will likely be to large to fit.

There is a pocket for an extra SDHC (or similar sized) card, and an extra battery.

It also has what I call a "bumper" on it, a piece of plastic on the bottom, backed by extra thick foam for those accidental drops that always seem to happen at the worst times. A nice feature, to be sure.

If you're like me, and you need a rugged case for your ultra-compact camera, this is for you. It fits in my cargo pockets easily, and I assume it would fit in a purse no problem.

It has a belt clip on the back, and comes with a somewhat lackluster shoulder strap (I won't be using the strap, so no problem there).

Its a great camera case, and the Lowepro name means you're getting top-notch quality. Five stars!
