I was looking for a slightly smaller laptop backpack to use when I am traveling internationally-- and this bag is perfect! I've had it for several weeks now and haven't found one thing I don't like. The well padded laptop section is plenty big for my 15.4in Dell Studio laptop.

Pros: very well made, comfortable; 2 mesh side pockets; plenty of types of pockets for various items; more compact than a typical backpack; unique styling; handle on top makes it easy to carry it at your side as well.

Cons: Main compartment doesn't zip closed so there's some risk of things falling out if it tips over. Smaller size could make it less useful for a student who needs to carry more than 2 text books at a time. Cell phone pocket on strap is too small for larger cells or iPods.

I've always liked backpacks, but some styles that fit laptops are just a bit too outdoorsy looking for me. This Factor is really cool because it's comfortable, looks a little more hip and urban, plus I really like the two-tone brown. I can keep my laptop safe and stash extra stuff like sunglasses, keys, cellphone in the extra pockets.

A Lowepro backpack for as little as $12.99? And a stylish one at that. You gotta be kidding. I can't tell you whether you'd love it or not. But someone must've screwed up in corporate pricing or quantity. It's a bargain. I got one and I love it!

This laptop backpack is great- I have had it for about 2 months now and it still looks as good as the day I bought it. Nicely padded area for my 15.4 inch Toshiba laptop. Plenty of storage for other items like charger, notebooks, pens, etc. The straps of the backpack are thickly padded and very comfortable- granted I do not fill the bag too heavy, but I have in there feels OK on my shoulders.

I like the neutral color also- not the same old boring black... but not too flashy that I couldn't take this into a business meeting with me.
So far I am very pleased- and the price through Amazon was incredible. I thought it must have been a mistake- it was that low compared to some other "bags" websites.

This is a really well made backpack, I'm not in school anymore but I am liking this for my personal laptop and camera gear when I travel.

I was thinking of buying a real camera backpack for all my camera gear but I stumbled on this bag at such a great price. I ended up loading it up with my SLR and some lenses, threw in some cushioned dividers, and this worked pretty well. The cushion for your laptop is really solid too, so there is plenty of padding.

What's great about the design of this bag is if you open it up, nothing will fall out like a flood as some backpacks that open all the way around do...you can keep it upright when you open, I've found it a good traveling bag.

I was looking for a carry-on bag that would simplify international travel; something I could put a change of clothes and other necessities in as well as my laptop. By the video review it looked like it might work so I ordered it. The Lowepro did not disappoint. Lots of zippered pouches and cubbyholes to store cameras and small knickknacks. The inside has two main compartments which I packed a change of clothes, a makeup bag, hairbrush, hairspray, contacts solution (travel size) a book, toothbrush/paste and slid my camera into one of the cubbys. There was still room for a few other things. Then the back zippered compartment which is totally separate from the other two, holds my laptop; it is very well padded for protection and I love that it is waterproof. I have a widescreen 14" and it slides right in. It was all about 10 pounds and the pack rested comfortably on my shoulders and back - its got great padding. This is a great backpack at an exceptional price. And not to mention, it looks terrific!

When I opened the box I immediately knew that I was very happy with my purchase. Lovely fabric and color, plus nice padding in the lap top compartment. The bag also sports many pockets and compartments- very, very nice.

Dual color tone looks good. Padding for the laptop area is good. Separate zipper compartment for laptop. also, has nice inner lip so that no friction while closing/opening zipper. outer compartment( for other stuff like books, power brick, extra battery) doesn't have its own zipper. The rubber strap on the back of the bag, lower side, seems a little weak. So, don't jam too much stuff in the bag, it may not handle the weight and may break. Suits nice on short people (i am 5'5"). Bought it on sale [...], worth the money.

I was looking for a smaller profile laptop bag. I was carrying a messenger bag and it was knocking me off balance due to the weight and size.
This is extremely well padded, the laptop goes in it's own section and it's nice and tight so it doesn't slide around. It zips at the top.
Then under the flap is a well organized area with room for two pens, iPod Nano, zipper for change, etc. Then inside that front part is room for books, notebooks, etc.

It's much lighter, better balanced and has a great handle at the top to carry as a bag. I am very pleased.

Very pleased with quality of construction and incredible price!

This is one cool backpack. The straps fit so well it feels custom made. It looks and feels like a top quality made pack. Of all the laptop backpack I own this is the best one. I can't believe the low price I paid for it. two years later this was one of the best laptop bags i have ever had, but amazon or anyone else for the matter carries it i would get it in vomit green if they had it. every bag i have gotten since this one has been a disappointment
