GREAT LITTLE CASE,

This review is from: Lowepro Cirrus TLZ 25 Holster Style Case For Digital SLR & Telephoto Zoom Lens (Black) (Electronics)
We just recently purchased this case to carry only the camera and lens that we are going to use. the case is really nice, it fits our Canon Rebel XT with a Tamron 70-300mm Lens perfectly, You can use it with shorter lenses as it has velcro inserts to hold the camera in place. It has some small pockets on the inside and out for small things (memory cards etc.) however, if your looking for something that can carry extra lenses, mini tripods, chargers etc, you should probably look for something a little bigger. The outer pocket can fit an extra battery, charger etc. it gets a little snug, but, it's good. This is exactly what we needed.

The bag fits my Nikon D80 with VR 18-200mm lens nicely with spare room throw in the Nikon Strap which I like to use. It's well padded enough to feel secure.

I take a daily walk and like to carry my camera. This case works well for my Canon 30D and 24-105mm zoom.

i got this bag/case- mainly because i like Lowepro products - and because there is no velcro on the bag!!! you know how irritating it is when you are in a museum or a church shooting pictures and you have to rip open the top from Velcro- awful sound!!!! so this is the bag for you if you don't like velcro ! it is very light and i can just swing my camera in - even with the 300zoom lens on it. i like the little handle on the top too - convenient when you don't have it on your shoulder - i like the bucket type for the longer lenses - you don't have to take them off to get it in the bag.
the only draw back is that there is little space to take anything else - or put a wallet or something - there is a small outer pocket to hold an extra battery and a pocket in the inner top - for a memory card or two - but don't plan on taking much else - mostly for taking out for a day shoot or something. The good thing is that you won't want to put all of it in there and then carry it around!!! too heavy! the bag it self is very well made - Lowepro quality all the way - the strap is removable and etc.......light, but well padded. one very small pocket in the inside lid and one very small pocket on the outside. your basic case - but best of all there is NO VELCRO !!!!!!

This case just BARELY fits my Nikon D300 with the 18-200 lens attached. The back end of the body is about level with the top of the case, so there really isn't room for anything else, but it does meet my needs.

This bag holds Canon Rebel XTi + EF-S 55-250mm IS with about an inch yo spare. There is room for 1 CF card and a filter. I would have liked bottom part of the case to be padded a little thicker.

Pros: It is a great bag. Very thick padding and material.
Fits my 40d with 70-300 IS lens (very tight fit though) Memory card holder inside top flap. Could easily fit 5 or 6 point and shoots by themselves. Cons: Shoulder Strap is not padded. Will not fit a full frame SLR (1d, 5d canon).

This case does what it's intended for very well. It's light, compact and holds my Nikon D80 and attached 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6 VR lens. The build quality is excellent and the lining and padding are very nice. If you just want to carry an SLR and a large zoom lens, this is the bag for you. The price is hard to beat.
However, that said, I'm going to be looking for another bag in the near future. I have a Tamrac that holds several lenses, speedlight and an SLR, but it won't hold them all with a lens mounted. So, I was hoping this bag would be my solution to keeping a superzoom on the camera all the time. I overlooked my desire to keep a speedlight and filters handy. I use fill-flash a great deal of the time and this bag has no provision to carry one. There isn't enough extra room in the main compartment for a speedlight and the small side pouch will not comfortably hold a filter-carrier. There are no side-loops or other attachment points, just a thick belt-loop on the body-side. I'm currently looking at the LowePro Mini-Mag as I think it might be the solution for my particular application.

I can fit a base Canon Elan or XTi with a Canon 75-300 base lens, but no more than that. It's not wide enough to have a battery pack attched nor is there room to carry any accessories other than maybe a spare set of batteries or memory card. The top pocket fits tightly against the back of the camera with the the case closed, so don't put anything in it that may damaged the camera.

I got this as a second bag for when I just want the camera and don't want to carry around a big ole equipment bag..
It fits my 5DmkII with the kit 24-105 lens perfectly.. it's snug enough where I have to push the camera body in at the end.. fits like a glove! |
