Camera bag,

This is an excellent bag. It held my Nikon D300 and one additional lens without a problem. The shoulder strap was a great addition as I did not need to worry that the bag would fall when getting out a lens. It was excellent to use when walking around. I sometimes carried my camera separate and stored my D70 body and two other lens. Side net pocket was great for carrying water. It is not a big bag but great for walking around, climbing temples etc. Does not weigh you down. The company I purchased the bag from was just outstanding

I bought this 100AW to replace my sling shot 200AW. The latter one certainly has more space but make my shoulder feel very tired every time I use it for travel. I have Canon 5D mark2 with 1740L lens attached in the 100AW(without hood), I can also put 70200F4LIS aside in the bag. Yes, you read it right. 70-200F4LIS! It's a little tight fit but works well for me. I also put 580Ex2 in the left side mesh pocket, a 500ml bottle water in the right side mesh pocket. I still have front pocket for charger, CF card, USB cables. This is what I loaded in the bag for my 6 days trip to Las Vegas, Grand Canyon, Antelop Canyon and Arches National park. To be very honest, I hiked almost all the long trails in Arches national park in early Sept. This bag saved me a lot of energy by sharing weight between waist/hip and shoulder. I should have bought it a long time ago! The only complain is that maybe it could be a little wider, just 0.5 inch will make 70200F4LIS fit more easily. or maybe 0.5 inches higher? :) No regret at all buying this.

Capable and comfortable,

It's spacious. It holds my D90 with 18-200 lens attached, and the 105VR Micro lens. To make this work, I did remove one of the two dividers. I love the fact that a belt pack is capable of holding so much, when needed.Went hiking in the Golden Gate park (Stow lake to the top of waterfall and Botanical garden) for hours, taking photos at will retrieving and putting the camera back repeatedly. It worked like a charm. I would not be able to do so as efficiently using a backpack or as securely using a shoulder bag. The shoulder strap is adjustable so it hangs across on my shoulder yet nearly all the weight just dissipates around my body. I'm impressed by the comfort! Weight is negated and not an issue while it feels nearly effortless to carry. I will say though, I'm a male who's a bit rounder than the models in the demo video. The guy in the picture is flat front and back. I find the pack accentuates my roundness. My son wants this bag for himself. Likes: Good capacity Super secure hold using both belt and shoulder straps Quick access Comfortable Free up the arms and hands Weight is minimized (in the use with the micro4/3, it's to the point I'm almost not aware of lugging anything) Well constructed Dislikes: Perhaps the look needs gettin' used to ---------------- 03/29/11 After many months of use, I'm loving it. Two features stand out in particular: bag stays secure around the waist, and quick gear access. I find the beltpack design ideal for walks or hikes. ---------------- 08/30/11 I've recently acquired the Olympus micro 4/3 system, a much smaller and lighter photo gear. works great with this bag and there is a ton of room for extra gear.

Great bag!,

I bought this at my local camera store. I tried all the waist packs they had in stock, and this one worked best for me. It holds my Canon EOS Rebel XSi with 18-200 zoom (with room to spare), plus a 10-22 wide angle zoom lens and small external flash.I love the detachable next strap. I carry the bag with the only the neck strap (not the waist strap) when I am not using the camera so I don't look like a nerd. Then I switch to the waist strap when I am photographing. Both straps stow away easily when not being used. There are small straps between the top of the waistband and the top of the front of the bag that do a great job keeping the bag from sagging down, while allowing the waist strap to be kept comfortably loose. It's not perfect, but I think this is about as good as a waist pack can get!

Bigger than I expected,

I purchased this because of its hip strap, I didn't even care about the dimensions after reading that it fits a D40 and a 55-200 zoom perfectly. Still too big for those 2. And even bigger for something that you can just strap to your hips. Put it in front and you can eat off of it while standing.I am keeping it, however. It still looks better than my previous one, which was mistaken for a lunchbox so many times. It now has my D40 (with 18-55) and my 55-200 zoom. The side pockets contain some filters and the charger. It has little pockets inside for your SD cards. Still an excellent product. I won't rate it lower just because of my own mistake.

I do like this bag a lot and, as in case of all Lowepro products that I have ever owned, I am very pleased with the quality of this bag. It is very spacious - in the main compartment it can fit my Nikon D40 with a lens attached plus two extra lenses (in my case regular set would include: 18-55mm, 10-20mm and 55-200mm), and the outside pockets still have then enough spice for a bottle or two of water! It feels pretty comfortable to be worn around the waist, either in front or back, but I think it would feel to heavy to wear it only using the shoulder strap. Also, keep in mind that it is pretty bulky and in many ways I think it looks ridiculous on a such small girl like me...

Perfect for family,

In my search for a camera bag I had a couple of demands:1. It had to fit both a Panasonic TM-900 and Nikon D5000 with lens attached (The bag probably won't fit the camera with anything bigger than the kit lens attached though). 2. Comfortable and easy to carry without using your hands. We purchased both the video camera and the DSLR just before our son was born. After he was born we found it difficult, to say the least, to keep up with him AND carry and photo/video him. This bag is our solution. I'm able to carry both cameras, my son, and a diaper bag at the same time. Since we have a simpler way to transport, we now end up using our cameras a lot more also. I give it 5 stars for fit and finish, quality of materials, AND ergonomics/useability. It's the PERFECT bag for a family on the go!

Just what I was looking for in a camera hip bag,

This bag is lightweight, comfortable for all day wear and fits my Canon 7D with zoom lens and some accessories. If you are looking for a day bag (hiking trip, walking around the theme park, etc) then look no further. Happy with the purchase and would buy again.

Excellent size for my sony NEX-5 with the 18-55 lens. Holds all my gear, but one drawback was the lack of more pockets for things. It does have a large flat front pocket storage area, but thats about it. However, overall great set up, very comfortable once you fine tune the hip straps. Worth every penny for a smaller bag for a smaller camera. Has pockets for 2 memory cards. I would rather of had 1 pocket for a M.C. and another for a spare battery. Otherwise not a lot of negitives. Definitly recommend and great price.
