I was looking for the smallest bag possible for a Canon Rebel T3. Took this bag to the zoo to see how it works. I strapped the bag over my neck and under my right arm. Wore it for 5 1/2 hours straight while walking around with kids, pushing a stroller, hiking up hills (for southern Californians, I was at San Diego's Safrari Park, you know those hills!). I am sensitive to things touching my neck but the strap on this bag did not bother me at all, nor did i have any marks on my neck afterwards. It would be better if it had a padded strap, though.

The camera can be shoved into the bag with its shoulder strap hanging out and the bag left unzipped if you want quick access to the camera, it will not fall out. I kept the camera strapped over my neck with the same over the shoulder arrangement as the bag and adjusted the straps on both the camera and the bag so that the camera was output was partially in the bag while I walked. This kept it somewhat protected but still easily accessible. I don't think I would have been happy trying to pull it out and shoved back in every time I wanted to snap a picture of the kids. Kids and animals move fast, can't be spending time pulling the camera out of a tight fit. On the other hand I did not want a bigger bag as I am short and dont want to lug a big bag around while putting my toddler in and out of the stroller and helping my preschool age child in the bathroom at an amusement park or zoo so this size is perfect for me, but better for someone with a bridge size camera than a DSLR. I only had the 18-55 lens on, forget a bigger lens or else use the bag for the bigger lens and keep the camera strapped on your shoulder and neck.

This is a nice little toploader for a small, compact system camera. In my case, I traded an older Canon DSLR for a new Fujifilm X-E1 with 18-55 kit lens, which is much smaller than the Canon body (EOS 40d). I needed to downsize my older Lowepro TLZ.

I was looking for a simple topload zoom type case that fits my new system but is as small as possible since my primary use for this will be to attach to the sternum strap of my backpack while on extended backcountry trips. This keeps the camera at the ready on my chest since removing my overnight pack is a hassle. A larger case in this position restricts my peripheral vision, is heavier, and is awkward hanging off my pack straps.

This fits my new Fujifilm very well, if not perhaps slightly snugly, in the lens-down position. I typically use a Really Right Stuff L-bracket with this body. The camera will NOT fit in the lens-down position when the L-bracket attached. However it will fit in the lens-to-the-side position with L-bracket attached....which will be the typical way I'll carry this. I suspect if I purchase any larger lenses in the future, such as the 55-200 zoom, it will not fit in the sideways configuration.

All in all, the case is well made, simple, provides enough storage area that I can fit in a small SD card case (Gepe type), a couple extra batteries, and maybe another small accessory or two. If this provides the long service life that my older Lowepro did, I'll continue to be very happy.

This is a very new case to me, so I can't comment on long-term durability only to say it appears well-made. I hope this review is helpful for someone looking for a simple, low-profile case for a Fujifilm X-E1 (I had a heck of a time finding one that wasn't oversized).

I got this as a gift for my husband, and he was very happy. The seems to be well made and looks pretty durable. It has plenty of compartments to carry accessories such as memory cards. I would recommend this product; I was not disappointed with my purchase.

Purchased this for a Nikon DSLR but it actually fits our Nikon P510 perfectly. It is too compact for an actual DSLR camera but the quality of the bag is great so we'll keep it for the smaller camera.

This would have been perfect but it was just a touch too small. I couldn't fit my Canon 60D in it. I think I needed about 1/2 inch wider in each direction. Too bad, seems like a sturdy case. It is nice an compact and could be attached nicely to a backpack which is what I purchased it for.

Fits my Nikon D3200 with 30mm prime lens perfectly. I have a thick rubber camera strap that will need to be folded in there some how but it shouldn't be much of a problem. The Nikon D3200 is a very small DSLR, so if you have anything bigger, then I do not suggest this case. The side compartments fit my charger on one side and some misc things on the other. I have a big Lowepro bag that I use for all of my lenses, but this is perfect for traveling.

As others have noted, this is a very tight fit, in our case, for the Canon Rebel T3. There is literally no room left for anything else.
That's ok. The camera was dropped a couple of times, and the snugness meant no damage - despite being unzipped at the time.

Just a heads up for anybody looking for a tight fitting case for the Panasonic Lumix DMC-G2 camera with the standard (14-42mm) lens kit and kit strap.

It's a good fit, perhaps a little tighter than I wanted, but overall I'm very pleased. Pulling the camera off is very easy, but getting it back in needs a little bit of work (mainly because of the camera strap rings). Build quality is excelent. I'm confident it will stretch a little bit after use, making an easier fit on insertion.
