Another nicely designed and well made Lowepro case.

I bought this to store my Canon EOS M with the 22mm pancake lens and it fits perfectly.

I looked high and low for the smallest belt pouch style bag I could find for my newly purchased NEX-3N with 16-50mm Power Zoom lens. Everything I either had (and I have a LOT of camera bags) was either too large or too small, or just bulky, due to the wrong shape for this camera. Well, the Dashpoint 20 is the PERFECT bag for someone who wants to carry their smaller Sony NEX APS-C sensor mirrorless camera as though it was a point-and-shoot. This way, in the warmer weather I don't have to drop my Sony in a coat or jacket pocket and have it bang around against everything I come into contact with. This nicely padded snug fitting case is just the ticket for belt carry, or attaching to a wide luggage or camera bag strap. Very versatile.

Just a note: Initially, the fit was too snug, but after realizing that the "hook-and-loop" strap attachment tabs on the back of the case were snugged up a big too much when purchased I merely relaxed the tension a bit and gained just enough room to easily slide the Sony into and out of this bag with ease. It is now as if custom made for my Sony NEX-3N!

I looked all over Amazon, nobody can tell what bag is for the Canon EOS M with 22 mm lens.

By trial and error I found this at BestBuy

Now with this case I can have a DSLR quality camera with a fixed wide aperture lens in a tiny package to carry around at all times. Perfect.

If you want to use the kit zoom lens, use this bag:

MegaGear (Ever Ready) Protective Leather Camera Case, Bag for Canon Eos M (Black)

B009YD3Z8S

I also use it for a Canon g15 and even for a Samsung Galaxy camera. It surely is big for these items, but it provides great protection and is malleable and yields, hugging the camera when thrown with other items into a bag. But, certainly, it is not a perfect fit as for the Canon EOS-M with 20 mm lens.

The Olympus PEN E-PL5 with the Panasonic 20mm (pancake) lens is a nice small package, so wanted a similarly small pouch for more casual shooting. The Dashpoint 20 is just the right fit. I could probably squeeze a spare battery inside as well. (see the uploaded pic)

One of the first things I look for in a camera bag review, is what camera the reviewer is using .... best case it's the camera I'm wanting a bag for ... worst case the reviewer talks about how great his camera fits, but never mentions the camera .....

Well as the title says, my NEX 5T fits perfectly in the Dashpoint 20 .... my NEX 5T is configured with the kit lens (16-50mm), B+W UV filter, and the stock lens cap ... It also has the Black Rapid Stealth and Black Rapid wrist strap attached .... again, it fits perfectly in the case .... it's snug ... It won't drop in via gravity; you have to push it in .... but it glides right in with little resistance ....

Can you get anything else in the bag? .... hard to believe but two batteries and a SD card will fit ... the SD card fits into a little pocket in the bag cover .... wrap the batteries in a micro cloth so they don't scratch your camera and they will fit in the void created between the camera grip and lens .... NOTHING else is going to fit in the case ... I have the Black Rapid wrist strap hanging outside when zipping up the bag cover and the strap makes a perfect carry handle ....

You will have a bit more room if you use the 16 or 20mm prime lenses on your NEX .... and the NEX with the 210mm zoom will of course not fit at all ..... if I took the Black Rapid Stealth and strap off my camera, the camera with kit flash would fit into the case .....

The bag is of Lowepro quality, but material is very slippery .... I personally would not trust the little nylon loops on the side of the case for a shoulder or neck strap because they are attached only by the stitching .... so what a great purchase that Black Rapid wrist strap has become .....

The headline says it all. It looked a bit bulky when I first saw it, but the interior is actually just right. It looks bulky because the padding is so generous. That's good - that means my little camera is now very well protected! It is also relatively inconspicuous and handier than ever.
When out roaming with a different system, this will make a perfect lens bag. I was looking at getting some kind of photo vest, but I think instead I'll just get another one of these!
My only concern is that the belt and backpack strap loops are open-ended, secured with velcro. Hopefully they'll be reliable - time will tell...

EDIT: the belt loop has proven to be quite reliable. It's been on a few strenuous road trips without the slightest sign of the velcro ripping open.
In addition to the EOS-M, this unit is a nice fit for my Sony SEL24 lens, or for my Sigma 19 & 30mm lenses (BOTH of them).
I love this pouch!

1 YEAR LATER: just got two more of these for use with lenses. Side by side in the vest pocket, they provide the best possible convenience and protection.

*Just* fits the Nikon Coolpix P7700 camera with a single UV filter and lens cap installed, but the camera strap has to hang outside the case. If you have a lens hood, additional filters, or desire to put the neck strap inside the case get the Dashpoint 30. However, if you have bought a camera the size of the P7700, the bulk value of either case wipes out the ease of carry--which was the whole dad-gummed point. Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be a case made that is a non-bulky fit for it and the *!@# on the back for belt carry only adds to the problem.
