I purchased the lowepro tasca 20 on a whim when I was unhappy that the clip on ANOTHER cell phone case broke! Since then, I'm estatic with this little thing. It's a perfect tiny carryall. Secure on my belt and EASY to get something in and out of! Perfect for a cellphone, a camera or simply a bit of cash. I was initially concerned that the magnetic closure would not be secure -- but nothing has fallen out so far!

While this may be nice for a small camera, it doesn't really work with the Flip video cameras. It doesn't close properly because the camera is just a little longer than the case. Other than that, I like the D clip for attaching to to a loop or bag.

In concept this is a great design. Magnetic closure, belt clip, padded case. In reality the Flip Ultra HD doesn't fit. The unit is just too big for the magnetic clasp to stay closed. Consequently you are left with an open-top bag. Not real secure.

This case is good. I hadn't realized the it closes at the top with a magnet, which is a handy feature. It allows you to easily take the camera out when you need it.

I hadn't realized that it wasn't designed for the Flip Video MinoHD when I bought it, though. It's a bit loose, but that can work to your advantage.

I bought it as part of a promotion (buy the MinoHD and get 2 free accessories), and I would have liked another case better, but I'm happy with this one.

We got this case free with the Flip HD camcorder as a promotion. The Flip barely fits inside, and the closure is a magnet, which is weak and pops open easily. It would be preferable to have a case that closes securely for your Flip, maybe with velcro or a snap. The carabiner does nothing for us. I don't think this is worth $15 due to the magnet. It's worth about $2 to me.

I wanted this cover to fit the Flip camcorder. Unfortunately, it is just a bit too short. Also, it has a not very strong magnetic closure. It could work for a smaller item, but it certainly would not be safe for the Flip. One small shake and the camcorder was on the floor.

I ordered this bag for a Flip video after reading some glowing reviews on Amazon. So I was surprised at what a disappointment this little bag is. The magnet is not strong compared to other electronics bags and there is no flap, so if you bend over, the camera could come out. I prefer a zipper to the way this case closes. This bag does not seem secure. Also, it is not well padded to protect against bumps. It is more like a thick skin than a pad. I think that a small camera bag like those you can pick up at WalMart or almost anywhere would be a better buy. Unfortunately, I bought two of these and gave them as gifts before I realized how they were made. I would not recommend using this bag for carrying anything too fragile or valuable if you are active.

I took this case with my new Flip Ultra HD on a week-long roadtrip. It does the job of protecting the device, but has two flaws:

* The magnetic closure at the top doesn't meet up when the Flip is in the case, but holds it shut when you're trying to put the camera away. Not helpful.

* The carabiner attaches to the case by hooking through a small flap of neoprene. Yes, it's just hooked through the material of the case.

At the end of the trip the carabiner tore straight through the flap. Fortunately I was sitting down at the time, so the camera didn't take a tumble, but I'm disappointed that the case didn't last more than 7 days of mild use.

This case is very cleverly designed, featuring a magnetic closure at the top and the quick clip that allows you to attach it just about anywhere. The primary reason I would not rate this higher is that the Flip Video camcorder I purchase with the case, which was advertised with the case, does not fit properly in the Lowepro Case. The case is too short so when my Flip Video is inside, the case will not magnetically close shut, making the camcorder easily vulnerable to sliding right out. With that said, I am not very satusfied with this product.

I originally got one of these as part of a "package deal" to go with my Flip MinoHD, but I found it so useful I bough another for my Optio digicam. It is compact, protects the cameras with a bit of neoprene, uses a magnetic closure (so I am not fumbling for a catch or zipper when I see something "shotworthy"), and it has a 'beaner built in (which means I can clip it to my pack, belt, whatever...) This case is so perfect for my particular uses, I would almost have to say it is "tactical"... I later found Lowepro makes a couple sizes of this product. The 20 is a perfect fit for my Optio W60, and a bit loose on the MinoHD. Make sure you are getting the size you need.
