Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Lowepro Tropolis 1200 17" Notebook Backpack (Personal Computers)
I just purchased this bag from amazon for my 15.4" laptop. I don't think it would hold a 17" computer. It is for the price a steal. Lowepro makes great bags. I have one I use for my camera gear also. There is plenty of room but not to large (the bags with wheels are to much). I compared bags at Circuit City and it would cost double for the same features. I really like this one!

I was very satisfied with this laptop bag. It's very roomy and holds a 17" laptop perfectly. It also looks very nice. I was worried it was going to look cheap, but it's just the opposite. The bag is slightly bulky, so if your looking for lightweight, it's not for you. But, if you want the best bag at the best price...this is the one!

High Quality Computer Bag!,

This review is from: Lowepro Tropolis 1200 17" Notebook Backpack (Personal Computers)
I purchased this bag in December 2007 for use with my 15.4" Acer laptop. I've been very pleased with this purchase. The product description is a little misleading as this bag is not a backpack. There's plenty of room for my computer and the power adapter/cord accessory bag fits right alongside the computer. That being said, I agree with another reviewer that this bag may be a little tight for 17" computer....you may not be able to put the power adapter and cord alongside the computer. But, with all the other storage areas and sleeves in this bag, it would still work. This bag has plenty of room for carrying other stuff...so it is more like a attache case with room for the computer. It is very well made, and should hold up to daily use. But be advised, if you load up the computer and then stash a lot of stuff in this bag, it will start getting a little heavy, which is something to consider if you do a lot of walking with your computer over your shoulder (a backpack style would be better).
