Why are you reading this? You should have this already! To date I'd have to say this is their best release. I can't even choose a favorite song they're all amazing. I'm gonna have to agree with many others when I say The Unseen are definitly one of the best punk outfits in the 90's and continue to knock you on your behind into 2000. Uncomprimising in your face punk, a heck of a lot more than I can say for, ahem, NOFX or any of those other bands that the kids seem to like nowadays. Back to the album.. Children of the Revolution is an instant classic. ADD is unforgiving in its power and speed. Every song blows me away. I have to say Paul Russo's vocals are really powerful. Just get it. Now. NOW!

Boston Rules!!,
By Drunker Punker "Jes" (the streets) - See all my reviews

The Unseen are the best street punk band ever. Period. Along with A Global Threat and The Profits, they prove that Boston is the best place for street. "Alone" has the best guitar riff of any Unseen song and "Welfare is Warfare" is the best written. The best Unseen album ever.

Good 'ol classic punk rock from a modern punk band,
By A Customer
This review is from: Lower Class Crucifixtion (Audio CD)
This is one of the best punk bands i have ever heard, especially in this day and age when ska, goth, and other crap is associated with punk. The Uneen brings back the classic sound of punk that no one has really been playing anymore. I just bought it today and have already listened to it 5 times! The album is solid, opening up with some good songs like Children of the Revolution and Alone. It gets a little boring toward the middle, but makes a comeback with What are we Waiting For?, one of the BEST punk songs i have ever heard, and continues to the end with some great music. I saw these guys live with Anti-Flag, another great punk band, over the summer in Chicago, and it was the best punk show i have ever seen! If you hear they are in town, SEE THEM!!! You wont regret seeing one of the greatest modern punk bands there is!!! To sum up, this album is one of the best punk albums since the '80s, and if you are a good punk rocker like me, DONT HESITATE, GET IT!!!! And if you are into the new "punk" like NOFX and such, buy this album, and you will realize what the classic punk rock sounded like, and how much modern music SUCKS!!! BUY THIS CD NOW! WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?!

The Unseen are an amazing band!!!! Lower Class Crucifixion is a truly awesome album. My favorite songs are...Children of the Revolution, Too Young to Know,The Unseen Class, and A.D.D. All of the songs on the c.d. are amazing though. They are an awesome band to see live, so check them out! They are currently on tour right now. They also have a new cd "So this is Freedom" coming out soon. So if you don't have Lower Class Crucifixion yet buy it right now!!!!

Good as far as it goes, but overrated,
By Just a guy with a job (Pennsylvania, USA) - See all my reviews

I bought this CD based on the reviews found here. While okay musically, the lyrics are mostly lacking: there is nothing new here, and much unthinking ranting against "the system" (without enough song-writing talent to compensate). If you like music in the vein of the Casualties or Blanks77, then you may find this is worth listening to if you've got the cash. But don't expect it to be as good as either of those bands, and not nearly as good as some of the more glowing reviews suggest.

The best Unseen I've heard,

This CD is loud, raw, and crusty. Just like punk should be! It has some great punk anthems on there and a wicked cover of a Skid Row song. I found myself listening to the CD over and over again.

Lower Class Crucifixion shows what the Unseen is all about. This is the best of all their cds lyrics-wise. If you are an Unseen fan, you should buy this one.

the unseen are far better than bands like nofx or rancid which i don't listen to anyways. a time from now the unseen will be looked at as bands like angelic upstarts , chaos uk and maybe sham69 and the cockneys. one of the best albums out there, never gets old.
