I purchased this unit to match an existing depth finder by Lowrance so the electronics would match on the helm. However I did not expect the SD card you really need to purchase to make this GPS usefull in the marine environment to be as expensive as it was. So expect to spend and additional $150 plus depending on your area of coverage.
