Bumbulatin!!,
By Keyno Davis (Miami, FL USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Loyalty & Betrayal (Audio CD)
Oh boy!! This is why I love the West Coast. THe ones with skills come wit it and Fonzarelli is included in that group. My favorite track is "Behind Gates"becuase my dawg Cube is in it. Then there is "Ya Blind" "Doin The Fool" and "Clown WIt It". 40 water definitely brings the skills to the table. This album is not meant to grab new fans because a lot of people can't underdig the slanguage that 40 spits. However, fans of 40 should definitely get this. EVen if you're not a fan, free your mind and give it a try. Ya underdig?

A Kid's Review
This review is from: Loyalty & Betrayal (Audio CD)
This cd is tight to def! It will definately knock hard in ya trunk. E Feeze is at his best here. His pimpish flow sprinkled over his crackalatin beats makes this album truly a work of art. The hardest tracks are: #2(Loayality and Betrayal) #4(Ya Blind) #5 (Sinasta Mob) and my favorite #12 (Behind Gates)with my dogg Ice Cube. This is a must have if you're a fan of the west coast. OH BOY!!! PLEEZEBELEAVEIT!!!!!!

E-40's Last Great Album,
By Qlazarus (Vancouver, B.C.) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Loyalty & Betrayal (Audio CD)
A solid follow-up to 1999's Charlie Hustle: The Blueprint of a Self-Made Millionaire and 1998's double cd classic The Element of Surprise. This is west coast underground bay area gangsta rap at it's best. This 2000 release is E-40's last great album. The album features several stand-out tracks, including: "Loyalty and Betrayal", "Ya Blind" with Eightball & Jazze Pha, "To Whom This May Concern" about the state of the record biz, a dope track with Ice Cube called "Behind Gates" and an all-star list of guest stars on "Doin The Fool" (Pimp C of UGK, Too Short, Pastor Troy and one time Sic Wid It alum Ska Face Al Kapone). A video was released back in 2000 for the song "Nah, Nah..." with Nate Dogg. "Pop ya Collar" is also a good track and has B-Legit, D-Shot and Suga T - aka - The Click.
