Chris Swicegood and Lolly Patrick met at TCU in 2005 in the music and theatre departments. Lolly got her B.A. in Musical Theatre Perfomance (2007), and Chris B.M. and M.M. in classical guitar performance (2005, 2007) Married in 2007, the couple has formed a very close musical bond over the years and have played many gigs throughout the south, TX, OK, AR, IL, NY, NJ and FL. Their act features original material that shows their love of rock n'roll, blues, motown and jazz. In the spring of 2007 Chris met notable producer Henry Hirsch and started work on his debut album Lila which was slowly put together over the last year and a half. Finding it difficult to complete an album recorded analog living in Texas and having to fly back and forth, the couple decided the best way to finish the work was to move to Hudson NY. While there, they played a variety of clubs and venues, including the Hudson Lighthouse and Club Helsinki. With Lolly's soulful and expressive vocals and Chris's bluesy rock guitar and piano chops, the couple blend very well together, as well as put on a show that ranges from delicate acoustic music featuring duel harmony vocals. In the fall of 2012 C&L official formed as a duo and with producer Jim Hodges, they recorded their debut album, Loyalty and Love, at Blackbird Studios in Nashville TN. The duo then moved to music city where they are performing full out as a duo act. Loyalty and Love is the first of many more C&L's albums to come and certainly shows off their fresh new sound and driving spirit.
